Re: Predator 1 bio mask That was a funny video. I never owned any of the AVP masks apart from Wolf's so I never knew the extent of their quality deficiencies. Despite that I still cringed a little when it got crushed. Those paper lenses did indeed look crap though!

Yeah you're probably right. From a customer perspective I think its easy to forget about what it actually takes to make these things, including all of the financial implications for a business.

Oh, ok. I've only been collecting Hot Toys line of predators, so I'm not aware of changes they may have made to any of their other lines during production. I wonder how they decide which figures to change as it seemed to me that the P2 head sculpt could have done with a more work than the Elder.

I've not bought any of Hot Toys predators since Classic was released, but all of these in hand photos of Scar and Celtic look amazing! May have to pick them up. This and the alterations made to the upcoming P2 Elder (Although I did still like the mean look of the prototype) give me confidence...

Great review of an awesome figure! Makes me want to get my figure out of storage in my loft and take a look at it again. Unfortunately I don't have much space to display the figures.

Re: Predator 1 bio mask Looks pretty good, can't wait to see it from different angles as that will be the key thing. The subtleties in design between the P1 and Scar's mask make them very different to my eye, so hopefully this will not be an amalgamation (no pun intended) of the two.

Yeah, I always liked the P2 mask, I think its the angular muzzle section and the slant of the lenses that do it for me, similar to what ADI did for the Wolf. Then of course there's the colour scheme that made it so much different from the P1.

Where did these rumours come from? It would be amazing if they found it! :)
