Brave, no…..I just got this crazy idea to turn all my 501st into named clones. It started with deciding to turn one into Appo, easy quick mod adding that arrow.

I cut these pegs off and shallow drilled them out the rest of the way to pop the visor and faceplate off. This was a bit nerve racking since it’s so thin.

Ok here a couple general breakdown pictures.

The front area of the helmet can be detached, made painting the grill easy. I can share pictures of the helmet fully disassembled if any one wants them.

The paint was a couple hours of wet sanding at #800 grit. You’ll have to disassemble the helmet to clean the paint off around the visor edge, and it’s quite difficult to sand the triangle area at the bottom of the vertical chest line.

I did order the wrestling version, I figured even if HT’s does a new 2002 Spidey the wrestling costume is probably way down on their list of possible Spider-man releases. I would expect every suit and villain from NWH before they even thought about the wrestling costume.
