Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

The 89 cowl is different from Returns

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Just a quick photo comparison, the Hottoys DX09 on the left is made 13 years ago. On the right is the revised final proto head from Jazzinc.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

So the likeness is bad because it's an accessory to their batmobile? But they will nail the likeness on Catwoman somehow? I thought both are done by the same artist?

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

After seeing this Batman, I'm sadly going to pass on their Catwoman. I just don't see how it's going to be a figure on a par with hottoys. The 89 Batman Hortoys made over 10 years ago still has better Keaton likeness. I'm now back to waiting on Marstoys.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I think companies rarely make scene-specific sculpts because it would be too easy for people to just put up the source image side by side to compare and pick things apart. Whereas if you go for non-scene specific sculpts, it would be much easier for people to say the likeness is subjective and...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Not sure about that being perfect, but the Prime 1 studio catwoman is near perfection. I doubt Jazzinc will be able to top this, or come anywhere near it, calling it now.

1/6 Hot Toys Batman & Batmobile - Batman Begins

I feel the same way. I used to love OT's begin sculpt, even paid extra to get a second hand one, just for the accuracy. Between the sanding, the wait, and the price, it's just not worth it. Unreal does capture the beastly look way better, and the dude sculpts everything from scratch and is very...

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Funny how nobody said that in the new Hottoys Wolverine thread. I suppose everyone just miraculously sees that Hugh Jackman sculpt the same way, lol

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

The newest render of the neutral head Jazzinc posted, maybe it's just me , but I'm seeing more Audrey Hepburn than Michelle Pfeiffer here, hopefully it will look better with the new paint sample soon.

Just got my Marstoys riddler today, I'm very impressed with the quality. The paint job on the heads are Hottoys level if not better. This will be an uphill battle for Jazzinc for sure.

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Forever Riddler

Got mine today. I'm very impressed with the overall quality of the figure, and what a fun figure to pose. I just wish Mars toys would also make a panther suit batman to complete the Forever collection.

JazzInc - Batman: The Animated Series - 1/6 BTAS Batman

Yeah, I'd be all over this if the head and body are more in line with the source design.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

I would love to have movable eyes on her for sure, but it has to be done just right, otherwise they can look pretty goofy like some of hottoys early DX figures. I think Inart is the new gold standard when it comes to movable eyes.

Jazzinc Dioramas 1/6 Ultimate Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992)

Wouldn't it make more sense to go for a panther suit Kilmer batman since they've already made the car?

JND 1:6 Kojun works BATMAN ARMORY [The Dark Knight]

How disappointing. This figure really shows again that JND just can't pull off sculpts without 3D scans being handed to them by the licensor. Wonder woman, Cavil Superman and a couple other characters which they had 3d scans were all excellent, but the ones they had to sculpt on their own are...
