InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Ahh I see, so Canton/Guangzhou, Dongguang, Shenzhen area is where the production is. Understandable as that is the most industrialized/developed and modern part of China. And its next to HK which has one of the biggest and best international airports in the world.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Everything alright in HK? Saw video about flooding in the city and read the news. It surely causes disruption in all transports and unfortunately loss of human life too. Isnt Inart located in Hangzhou/杭州?

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I agree with everything except HT doesnt concern me. Thank God. :D Their release schedule is fine, just wish they would be able to do 6-8 figures in a year instead of 4. Maybe they will get there with time. And I am all for them releasing other figures from other franchises which makes other...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

From money perspective its good ofc, but as you mentioned time is the only thing what is less and less for each of us day by day. Certain are those things which already happened. Waiting is fine if I know how long I have to wait. Guessing from this interview and from Inarts current release speed...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Anyone has a link to this interview? :) Edit: Got it I guess. Here between 39:22-41:51 he mentions they will do them but they are in no huge rush as they are timeless etc. and they need to release DC figures to keep that license alive. Meaning it will take many years until we see all of the...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Well, they need to create a dwarf sized body about 25 cm tall, so inbetween Hobbit (20cm) and Standard 1/6 size (30cm). I cant speak for your Battleaxe but my Actual Replica Battleaxe of Gimli from United Cutlery would welcome the Inart figure. :D I cant see it happen under $500 but then again...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Nah, its gonna be easily $500+ with beard braided and hair done nicely and 5 axes and leather belt and leather harness and metal belt buckle and chain mail etc.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

It looks nice, his waistline is a bit too thick imo and his face is not 100% there for the 3300 usd price. But the chainmail and beard and helmet etc. looks really good. The eyes should be much rather hazel (greenish brown) than pure brown at this scale in 1/2.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Next to Inart Gandalf and later on Aragorn only Gimli from Asmus seems to be okay. The rest is just meh.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Absolutely true, Now I dont want to bash anyone and there is no offense towards anyone in saying this but here in Europe about 70-80% of people have android phones the minority is Iphone. Yet basically anyone who has an Iphone treats Apple and the products of it as if its a proclamation from...

Dragon Toy - The Dark Ruler 1/6 Scale

That would be true if the actors would have been that tall but they were around the standard 6 ft I think (Peter Mckenzie who played Elendil Height: 185cm / 6ft 1in). They were not towering over their fellow numenorians nor the elves around them (Elendil was the tallest numenorian who survived...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

The more I see Gandalf the more I am sure Aragorn will look at least this incredible and the more I want Inart to make more LOTR characters.

Dragon Toy - The Dark Ruler 1/6 Scale

I added a pic about that deleted scene fight between Sauron and Aragorn a few posts earlier to show that the size of Sauron was not double of Aragorn.

Dragon Toy - The Dark Ruler 1/6 Scale

I was only talking about the movies, we have no clue from the books apart from not gigantic. The shots differ from each other lots of times even with hobbits and dwarves. But we know the 9ft 2 for sure. Thats not up to interpretation. Thats why I added the tallest man pic as that is how it looks...
