Got my shipping notice from Sideshow this weekend. If I hadn't paid it off I might have considered purchasing it through TW, but either way I'm very much looking forward to this guy :D

QS responded to someone asking about the dimensions. 60cm(D)*51.7cm(W)*98cm(H). Looks like they went with 6'1" as the height (92cm) and then the other 6cm are likely from the base. I get that it's in scale with what is true to the movie, but I'd rather it be in proportion with the other statues...

I do own the piece. It was my first statue, so I almost don't want to part with it but at the same time I'm debating whether or not to go all in with the QS set. It's the Hulkbuster's price that has me on the fence the most.

My only disappointment with this piece is that the pose is almost exactly the same as the 1/4 Imaginarium Arts MK 43. The bases are obviously different, but I can't get over how similar the poses are.

Yeah that picture still makes him look a bit underscaled. QS is good about taking feedback though, so we'll see what they say.

At 1/2 scale, MK 1 should be about 89cm (2'9") without the base. I think the bases are making 50/85 taller — even MK 7 is shorter in comparison to those two. Checked out another video from Queen’s instagram posts. Seems less drastic without the camera angle. Still not 100% sure, but they’ll...

So glad to see that he has eyes beneath the mask and not an empty shell even if you can't raise the helmet :D Fingers crossed that you can lift that faceplate up but either way it's a PO for me.

I was hoping the 46 would be their next. I spent a year paying aftermarket on all the Iron Man figures for my collection except the 47 before the reissue craze started. Regretting it now, but at that time reissues were few and far between :confused: I do love the way this figure stands out on...

I wanted to hold out for a different armor because the 7 isn't my favorite, but looking at this armor as a bust the different colored accent areas and weapons really make it stand out in a dynamic way. ****, might have to get this :unsure:

This whole thing isn't being handled well by Sideshow or Hot Toys. If I hadn't checked this thread I wouldn't have known when Sideshow was even offering the replacement program, I was waiting for them to send an email out to those of us who purchased the 85.

Hot Toys needs a better photographer. I don't know if it's the lens or the editing, but what we got on those final promo shots compared to the video Justin just uploaded completely changed my mind about how this figure looks. The lack of visible neck with the unmasked portrait still disappoints...

I wonder if the 1/4 scale Mark 85 is going to have this same pose. It almost looks like it will, which means I can get the 1/2 scale Mark 50 and pass on the 85 :lol No way do I have the money or space for both (as beautiful as it is).

Agreed! As much as I like the Cap design, I loved the design for his Falcon outfit. I'm hoping it'll be a Toy Fair Exclusive or something like that down the line.

Yeah, this is sort of what I'm waiting on. I'm not a huge Mark VII fan because there's been so many variations of it made, but a part of me thinks if it sells out and I wind up loving the entire diorama I'll be kicking myself if I have to pay aftermarket. I almost wish they'd debut the entire...

It's also surprising to me. It seems like every statue maker hypes up the VII, and I get why, but Mark VI is one of the coolest suits. I'm hoping QS or someone gives it another chance to shine. I never liked this statue a whole lot but debated picking it up because (I think?) it's the only one...

Got impatient waiting for Sideshow so I put in an order for one from Japan. Honestly only doing it because the price comes out to the same amount as what it is on Sideshow, I don't think I could justify a $60+ price increase just to get a figure sooner. Can't wait to get this guy in hand and see...
