InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

The paint and eyes are more lifelike in the final product. And they fixed the beard as people asked.

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

I am eager to see their take of Nolan's Selina and Bruce. As far as I remember they mentioned that they plan to produce them at some point. HT is lasy currently.

Sideshow: The Clint Eastwood Legacy Collection (1:6 figures)

I'm still waiting for Gran Torino, that was teased once.

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

Thanks for the comparison pics. This really shows how bad the original looks next to the new one.

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

I missed the proper lightsaber fight scenes in the previous episodes. I can understand the logic, but those before were too comical to watch.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

That review embarrassed me on several levels. It is more of unboxing rather than a proper review.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I believe these were figures used in promos and were accidentally sent to some customers. I would consider them unique.

Now I want to see in-hand pics from those who purchased the first. Let's hope it will be shipped in the next few weeks.

Hot Toys One Piece Netflix Figures

The show is self-ironic enough and quite faithful to the source. It is already better than Netflix Cowboy Bebop. The figure is just lazy. The likeness is not there, and Luffy is laughing, not smirking. Why not make a laughing sculpt and a smiling one? Smirks are for Joker, dear HT. I think...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

This figure, together with Aragorn are going to be attention stealers on shelves. As I once mentioned, InArt figures bring back the excitement we used to have as collectors when started. I remember being blown away by HT Bank Robber Joker in 2009, and it got me into collecting 1/6. Let's hope...

I really want them to make the girls from LotR.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I agree that in a way, just as InArt made HT produce Joker, hairing Gandalf showed ups and downs of the mass-produced haired sculpt and provided InArt with some base. They definitely deserve a nod for pushing things further. But, it is also true that Asmus almost with every recent release had...

Mars Toys - 1/6 Jaws Figures

To me, the first part of the movie is the most fun, because it is also a very keen political satire. It is basically the mayor who is a real danger to people, as he does not care for lives but for the budget. And Brody is the real man. And the growing friendship between Hooper and Quint is also...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Another figure that raises a bar higher from InArt. I am also glad they really listened to the customer feedback. There was only Asmus that did it before, and these guys are really improving their figures before the release. Hope for the best with their Aragorn. And this updated figure...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I think it needs more time and patience to make it look good on a figure. And there is always Asmus hat, which is decent for the scale.

Yeah, no gap. Hope for the same for Aragorn.

    Asmus - 1/6 Gollum/Smeagol

This figure has a good character presence on a shelf, but I wish there were no problems with eyes, bent legs, and skin color.

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

His eyes look really good. It also seems that this GtG's paint is slightly more detailed than on GtW, but that can be just a different quality of pics. Still not my perception of GtG, but it's a really nice sculpt for the price.

Any idea when the review will be up? Even some pics with a decent camera would be cool.
