Asmus isn't stupid. They've been showing off teasers of the accessories for Boromir and hiding the head until now because they KNOW it's awful and that fans were going to flip out when they saw it. =\

Sometimes when there's multiple major new pre-orders on a Thursday, Sideshow puts some up at 3PM sharp and the others anywhere from 1-3 hours later. I'd be shocked if we don't see this Spidey on a Thursday pre-order.

Question for Asmus: When you do Bilbo, are you thinking of old Bilbo, young Bilbo, or both?

I believe the run was 1500, but they pre-sold out everywhere, so Asmus probably could have sold a lot more (which is likely why we're getting these awesome new heads for slim versions). It seems like Asmus arbitrarily set a 1500 edition size with the belief that the hobbits wouldn't sell well...

I don't see why Asmus -wouldn't- want to revisit them, when Merry & Pippin was one of the fastest sell-outs in this line. The idea that they're "not major heroes" doesn't make sense to me.

Since you guys have already released Eowyn in armor and Witchking Ringwraith figures -and- developed the bodies for the hobbits, many of us would in fact like Merry in his Rohan armor to complete that battle scene. After all, if Merry isn't in that battle, The Witchking kills Eowyn and Sauron...

Aragorn Slim is now up for sale for $174 on BBTS. It makes me feel kinda dumb ordering him direct from Asmus. Why is BBTS able to price Aragorn so much lower than Asmus itself? =\
