My order has been pending with GG for months now. No change.

I venture to guess that the insides (and the stand) are identical to that of the previous version. So the interior is padded all over, but no details, just padding. The stand is nice, but wobbly.

Would love to see them do the holy trinity: Luke, Han and Leia. :)

I wouldn't trim that cape. The overly dynamic look of it adds to the wildness of this piece.

I love the fact that the lightsaber doesn't light up. Those features are like giving the pieces a death sentence. Eventually they will stop working and then it's like owning a defect object.

I think that could very well be. It seems so unlikely that it would all be positive when there is an objective issue with this piece.

That's what you get when people are complaining about repeated use of the same poses.

Very interesting. But I'm sure it will be large and elaborate. Companies seem like they have this urge to try and overdo themselves and each other. Especially with these classic characters. When all I want is something simple, yet iconic. :)

I had it for half a year (the first one) and couldn't fit it on. But then one random day, I tried, and angled it a bit, and it popped right on. Was a good day. :D

I think I need better pictures to make up my mind. Right now, I am still very excited to have it and the previous one. I think it will be cool to see the actual differences side by side, and I have a feeling that both will look great in their own right. Do I eventually need to own both? No...

Unfortunately, Sideshow has proven very much in recent years that they are big bizz now, and aim to squeeze as much money out of its customers as possible. Rehashing sculpts, increasing prices, doing limitless ES etc. I wish they would have a more grounded perspective on the hobby, seeking out...
