*BEWARE SPOILERS* Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

As I said, the first one was very good, but some things just don't work on repeat (for me). Who knows, maybe this one will be great, but I'm definitely waiting for it to hit streaming.

*BEWARE SPOILERS* Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

Meh. The first movie was a lot of fun, but you need some real good writing to make the joke work again, and part 2 did not deliver at all, so I've zero excitement for this.

    Wow. That bad, huh?

    HBO's House of the Dragon

Been enjoying this, and yes indeed, finally some big action again.

GLADIATOR SEQUEL | RIDLEY SCOTT / PARAMOUNT

I'm not feeling this one at all. Just the sae story with some plot points changed, otherwise just MOAR! Eh. I was hoping for something closer to The Last Duel. That was frigging fantastic.

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Re-Animator Herbert West

I'm a huge fan of Lovecraft, and cheesy 80's horro flicks were a mainstay of my filmic diet back in the late 80's early 90's, but I've never actually seen this... Beyond the sweet aura of nostalgia, is it actually good?

GLADIATOR SEQUEL | RIDLEY SCOTT / PARAMOUNT

Why the hell did I have any expectations that they would not just repeat the formula?

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Wait, Pedro Pascal was Maxwell Lord in WW84? Damn, I had completely erased that from my memory...

    *BEWARE SPOILERS* Alien: Romulus

Is that one of those funny "Praetorian" aliens from the comics/games?

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Man... I really have to do some comics reading, I have no idea who the hell Maxwell Lord is or why he has a superhero team. :lol

The more BTS pics come out, the worse all those suits look... everybody looks like they are wearing some biker gear.

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

I think that T800 and Alatar mean that no movie has been planned that way before. It's one thing that you make your first edit, go through it with the studio, decide on where to edit it further, release it and then go back and re-edit the long(er) version, versus plan from the beginning how...

    Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon

Well, if the longer running time fixes the problems with the story, there might be something interesting, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

GLADIATOR SEQUEL | RIDLEY SCOTT / PARAMOUNT

I mentioned it because it says Numidia is "just outside the reach on the Empire" in the quote, which isn't the case if Numidia is actually a part of the Empire.

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

I could've sworn I'd seen BTS of Cavill getting ready to take off with the usual "flight cables" on to actually, you know, take off.

DID 1/6 WWII German Second Lieutenant Amon Göth (#D80178)

Fantastic role by Ralph Fiennes, but why would you want a figure of Amon Göth on your shelf? That is really creepy. Also, you need to give him a beer belly.

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Wow, clever on Reeve's part, it works very well in the movie, but overall I'm not a fan of the idea. I kinda liked Cavill's serious journalist, trying to make a difference.

GLADIATOR SEQUEL | RIDLEY SCOTT / PARAMOUNT

Are they going with those silly leather cuirasses again? Not much evidence for that, is there? Ah well, it's a silly Hollywood movie. Ridley Scott asking if anybody was there or just shut up :lol Also, Numidia had been a province of Rome for quite a while by then. Just such simple stuff that...

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Is he actually jumping there? Anyway, late to the discussion again. Uhm... so I suppose the dorky Clark Kent persona was established long ago in the comics? Never really liked it, not even way back then in CR's movies. At the tender age of 10 or 11, I still found them a bit silly and not really...
