Well I have got crown series Gandalf on pre order direct from asmus and my brother has the hobbit version but I’m not exactly sure where he purchased him from as it was a few years back, I hope between us we are able to get one for his sake.

I?ll definitely be doing this and the hat stretch trick too, I did the same with saruman after coffee staining his robes the wet shaping really helped especially with his sleeves. Just getting more and more excited to receive my figure.

Is there some code or batch number ect on the box of the original version to prove your updating the head, my brother wants to update his hobbit version and has all the packaging ect he would be gutted if he missed out because someone want to make a profit.

My brother owns the hobbit version of asmus Gandalf and is desperately after a new head sculpt. Hopefully we are able to get a chance.

I?d be very cautious of hairspray because of the alcohol in it could remove the paintwork. Best is a hair mousse, or hair oil or beard oil, or wax.

I think it’s amazing how they listen to their customers and fans, I also think some people will pick fault with anything, but the hat is definitely an issue and the eyes people either love or hate... at the end of the day the customers and fans are the ones buying their figures. Be interesting...

That?s very interesting. The eyes for me aren?t an issue but the hat floating is such a shame. Hopefully it can be saved.
