My guess is they did that as a more candy finish didn’t look as good with the BD switch out parts as the muted finish.

Well, count me in for EG Thanos over IW. In hand, he just looked too toy like being so big with large areas of cloth and rubber. Hopefully this version will fit the bill a little better.
