Meh. Hot Toys hadn’t seen the movie and were working off stuff provided to them. They crank out the Mark L and whiff on the included accessories that weren’t really memorable. If the Mark L was reasonably priced, and the accessory set was reasonably priced, there would definitely be less...

No promo code for me this time. Full price really stings, but that armor... Definitely in the twilight of my Iron Man Collecting days.

Yeah, you’re right. My hate of useless accessories... I think of the Yondu deluxe. Just a couple things in that. But I suppose if you’re engineering the base product to come apart like that, it will be standard. Hopefully, that wasn’t costly.

Too bad that pod mode isn’t part of some deluxe release. Or make it an accessory pack. Just more $.

Daniel Bel just might be the best thing to happen to sideshow statues. Wonderful sculpt and detail. Say what you will about the direction of his Cap PF, but the sculpting details are amazing on that one too. Give him a Surfer PF, and take every damn cent.

Motux mentioned he gets codes every month, but he also buys nearly every hot toys figure. Can’t be a coincidence.

I had 3 items ship in the last few weeks, so I figure when SSC looks at high volume of shipped items in a period of time, they’ll start sending the bigger codes you can use on nearly everything.

Burnt a $50 promo code on this to bring the price into ‘somewhat-reasonable’ territory. Add in the NRD I’ll have completely forgotten about paying in 2 years, and the price looks better. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Damn you, cool-as-hell digital camo.

So torn on this. I feel like it’s the best WM yet, but that concept suit for A4 looks like a god damn tank!
