Yeah it's in a room with 2 sliding glass doors. There are blinds that let natural light in, but actual rays of sun don't come into the house. But yeah, any increase in potential damage is all I needed to hear. I was kinda iffy on it, glad I asked here. Thanks Motux.

What is considered "direct sunlight" in terms of increasing the potential for paint fade? Obviously sunlight shining straight onto the figure, but what about ambient light from outside that does not shine directly into the room. Can that be almost as harmful?

Just takes a brave pull. Sorry bout the screw. There's nothing that's a bigger killjoy than having an issue out of the box. Especially when you've been waiting for over a year. Once it gets figured out and the dust settles, you'll be happy with the figure again. Luckily you got it from SS so...

I'm pretty sure the arm is just a ball in socket joint. SS should be able to send you an arm.

Oh okay. Marvel Legends scare me. The size and $20 price make it something I could see myself burying myself in if I really got into it. I bought the IW Iron Man for my daughter, I could not imagine having figures as nice as Marvel Legends at her age (6). Plus my parents would never spend $20 on...

Went ahead and looked it up. Wow! $572?? With that kind of damage? 13 bidders too. Crazy. Don't get me wrong, cool figure. Looked great in the film and the paint app looks amazing. But still, there's no way I could've called this based on the cold reception when it was unveiled.

What was damaged? I'm so tempted to sell my Mk46. I could totally replace it with the Mk50, still have a full headsculpt, and have some money leftover to spare... but it's such a great figure and there's no telling if I'll actually like the 50 better in-hand than the 46.

LOL. Yeah I was probably just as confused.

We also didn't know that the Mk46 would come with the forearm rockets. I'm hoping that they add more to the Mk50, but in all honesty, I think this armor looks best bare bones with the TS headsculpt. I'd be in favor of them replacing the Tinker Bell wings with pretty much anything else he used...

I honestly think that if/when they release a new Mk1 in DC, it'll be the best 1/6 IM figure in terms of paint application and level of detail. The Mk1 2.0 is already a beautiful figure, it's just that it can't stand up next to these updated DC figures without looking out of scale. HT IM figures...
