Mafex DC Universe figure thread including ( all genre based including movie, comic )

Yeah, it is still scheduled for the end of the month. Seems weird for them to announce a delay a week away from the release date but you never know.

Shazam shipped about 8 hours ago from Amazon. Hoping to get it today or tomorrow

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

So Tamashii is going to reveal some figure(s) on the 21st as part of their revamped movie-themed website. May 21st happens to be the actual 40th anniversary of Empire being released in the USA. So...we can only hope that they are using that as an opportunity to unveil some of the Empire molds...

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Yes it?s GW but that doesn?t prohibit them from having something prepared to show up on their website. You don?t need someone physically at Bandai to press a button to make something go live. I seem to recall in a previous year they offered something on May 4th, which is GW. Disney Store...

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Well the day has pretty much come and gone with not a peep. Unless they?re planning on announcing something for the actual ESB 40th anniversary later this month (or June if going by the Japanese release) or their tease of offering foreign customers access to their figures, this was a completely...

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Agree on the lack of human characters. Aside from their sporadic and limited number of releases, the lack of human characters has been extremely frustrating as a collector.

They usually release info in late morning or early afternoon. Still time. Only 7:50am here at the moment.

That?s hilarious. No possible conflict of interest there at all.

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Tomorrow?s May 4th. Hoping Tamashii continues what they?ve been doing the past week for their Marvel line and starts soliciting orders tomorrow for some of those older SW molds they?ve displayed at shows throughout the years. If tomorrow comes and goes without a blip from them, disappointment...

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

The Green Goblin is correct. It?s been a feature for years. Either you didn?t notice or you just didn?t click enough links to make it to the collection page. Either way, we really do need more ESB figures this year. Hopefully now that the sequels are finished, they?ll focus more on The...

You don?t have to pay in full in advance on Amazon JP. Living in Japan, the import sites are not an option for me. They exclude the 10% sales tax compared to Amazon so that factors into the price. Amazon is just convenient.

Grabbed two of each from Amazon. Hoping this is a sign of good things to come for this line.

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

Got to disagree there. Star Wars is still quite popular in Japan and these figures are for the Japanese market. The problem has been Bandai over producing/rereleasing figures. This clutters shelves and drives lower orders from retailers. I get that you want to allow new collectors to own the...

    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

The virus hasn?t stopped them from soliciting figures for other lines so I don?t think that?s it. I would hope it would be true of the Mandalorian but the series has only recently premiered in Japan. Companies usually have their release schedules pretty much lined up a year in advance so I...
