1/6 Hot Toys - MMS331D13 - Iron Man 2 - War Machine Collectible Figure (Reissue)

No need to make me feel better, as mentioned, I'm not upset just disappointed. But you (and others) were right about one main thing, which is I was over-generalizing. Using the car analogy again, I don't get together with groups where members have the same or similar car to mine. I find that...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS331D13 - Iron Man 2 - War Machine Collectible Figure (Reissue)

When people say that what other people own doesn't impact their enjoyment of their own collection, personally I think they are lying to themselves. If that was the case, the term "Grail" wouldn't even be used in this hobby. But lately, I've noticed collectors using the term "grail" for ANY...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS331D13 - Iron Man 2 - War Machine Collectible Figure (Reissue)

Wow none of you understood my point at all. Maybe it's the way I explained myself? Not about exclusivity, or maintaining a resale price). People have always been able to buy whatever figure they want - cost/value is personal. It's about enjoyment of the collection community. No different than...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS331D13 - Iron Man 2 - War Machine Collectible Figure (Reissue)

Personally, I think all of these re-releases is hugely disappointing. Don't get me wrong, there are some figures that I had to pay high after-market prices for (not this one in particular), or some figures I simply couldn't justify the cost to buy, but I figure all of that is part of these...

    They are both Sideshow.

1/6 Marvel Comics - 1/6th scale Iron Man Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version) [The Origin

Don't you worry. Justin will still get it, like everything else, and he'll talk about how "pictures just don't do it justice", and how in-hand "it's truly an INCREDIBLE figure".

    Jazz Inc - 1/6 1966 Batmobile

In the latest update, he mentioned that he thinks it's possible that everyone who had already pre-ordered, or paid, may not have a price increase. Fingers crossed! But I would expect for any new Pre-Orders, there would be a slight price increase.

Infinite / Kaustic Plastik: Peter Sellers (as Clouseau) 1/6 Action Figure

I almost changed my pre-order to the Deluxe instead of just the Inspector... the more I look at the pics, the more I think the gendarme head looks better in the Inspector outfit... especially with the magnifying glass. I'm starting to think a gendarme head alone will cost more than just getting...

    Thank you Sir!

Infinite / Kaustic Plastik: Peter Sellers (as Clouseau) 1/6 Action Figure

Really... I don't think the shirt, tie, or suits look cheap. But that said, these are too pricey in my opinion. Didn't stop me from pre-ordering the Inspector version :cuckoo: To justify it in my own head, I've never seen a better 1/6 Clouseau, and the character is a must-have for me....

Infinite / Kaustic Plastik: Peter Sellers (as Clouseau) 1/6 Action Figure

The headsculpts are quite different, so I don't think it's a Deluxe and non-Deluxe. Looks like 2 completely different figures to me. Personally, I'm just going to get the detective version, but that is really cool regardless. Day One pre-order for sure!!!!

SSC The Joker 1/6th Scale figure

I've tried 4 times to upload this pic. This site is the WORST for uploading pictures. Don't know why it insists on randomly rotating some of them...

SSC The Joker 1/6th Scale figure

I never bothered with a body swap for the original, as I never really pose it with the knees any more than slightly bent anyway.... But I just love the look... in my opinion, best 1/6 Joker ever made.

Expanding the Sideshow DC Comics 1:6 line?

Personally, I'd like: Classic Aquaman and then main villains Lex Luthor in a kryptonite powered suit Bizzaro Metallo (since they already included his head with the Supes V1) Sinestro Classic Black Manta Cheetah Reverse Flash

1/6 Marvel Comics - 1/6th scale Iron Man Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version) [The Origin

Interesting. If I remember right (and I might not, because I was never a fan of Iron Man comics back in the day), his suit had a "force field" for added protection. Maybe that's what they were going for? I wouldn't get this figure either way, but I'm curious as to how the clear plastic bits...

1/6 SSC Gambit Sixth Scale Figure

I don't really understand the comparison. I agree, ****** move to change the body for the re-run, but Obi's robes are loose fitting. The reason they tend to use skinnier arms in a case like gambit, is that the coat (like Cyclops) is a little more form fitting. So they use skinnier arms to be...

    Jazz Inc - 1/6 1966 Batmobile

I think some folk here have misinterpreted the situation. Yes, this announcement was initially made on Facebook. Also, Joost himself specifically asked to keep it within the Facebook group initially, until he had more details from Warner Bros., which is likely why it wasn't posted on this forum...
