Too bad to hear but have you considered the Jiaou 3.0 on the left? Its taller and more slender than the S17 on the right. I also wonder if its possible to put OG Ripley on one of these bodies.

I saw Dean's review and sadly the figure is undersized so I cancelled my preorder. Their Pumpkinhead is a 1/10 figure despite being labelled 1/12 while this is closer to true 1/12. They should have used the 1/10 label from the beginning and stuck to the larger size to avoid inconsistencies...

These bodies are all taller than 1979 Ripley so making 1986 Ripley even taller would make them more out of scale with each other.

Agree that the S17 seems best but I think its still taller than Nostromo Ripley. The Jiaou Doll 3.0 is the only similar body I could find but its even taller (10.75" , left in second photo). Would love to see Ripley on the S17 next to Nostromo Ripley. Mine is on the S19 but its too big.

Sorry to hear about thar Connor body not working out, its hard to find a good body and the old ones usually have issues. I have the Phicen S19 body on my HT Aliens Ripley but its bigger than the Nostromo version. I hope there's a seamless body that matches Nostromo Ripley. Has anyone else found...

Been sometime since anyone's posted but this really needs a 2.0 version and one that's battle damaged would be fantastic as well. Hot Toys should really continue revisiting these retro figures since they would sell out instantly with today's technology. This would also be great for Inart to pick...

Hopefully it can turn into a full production run. I would fully support that since its out of my price range at the moment.

I would consider that a second run of his first sculpt since there no changes other than the neck and paint.

Check out a 2.0 Nutpizs Jon sculpt being released in a limited quantity! What are your thoughts? To me the hair/beard is the biggest difference and some higher resolution details otherwise the face seems very similar to before
