This why physical media is the best. Once you own it, nobody can mess with it.

    Avatar: The Way of Water

Even though I was only a 6 year-old back in 1995 when "Batman Forever" came out, I always remember thinking that something was "off".

    Avatar: The Way of Water

I was born in 1989. So, whilst I grew up on Indiana Jones, Batman '89/Batman Returns, OT Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Universal Monsters etc. I wasn't born or was too young to experience them at the cinema. My fondest memories of seeing movies at the cinema up until the age of...

The Batman - Part II (October 3rd, 2025)

I'd say it's worn off since "The Batman". That movie is now the best expressed Batman narrative put to screen.

Star Wars Saga (OT/PT/ST) Discussion Thread

Also, 9 of those 11 names have only been shown to be alive in pre-ROTJ media. They could all have been hunted down and killed by the time we get to ROTJ. Only Ahsoka and Ezra are definitely alive. Even then, Ahsoka is no longer a Jedi and Ezra has disappeared (could be considered dead by the...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

I saw it on reddit, but it's now been taken down unfortunately. Had a strong "Last Crusade" vibe. I think I'm going to like Helena.

The Tuk-Tuk chase scene has been leaked. Looks fun!

    Somehow Rey Returned

I mean, yeah, of course. I'm looking forward to Ahsoka and interested in the Jedi Old Republic movie that Mangold is helming. But Kennedy knows that they messed up with the Sequel Trilogy. She knows it pissed a lot of people off, more than anything that has come before. She could have just left...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

This does actually look really good. Raiders is my favourite movie of all time, and it gives me goosebumps watching this trailer.

    Somehow Rey Returned

The sheer audacity, stubbornness, impudence, arrogance, insolence, and nerve of Disney/Kennedy to double down on the horrible things they did with the Sequel Trilogy and announce this movie is actually impressive. She literally doesn't give a ****.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Huh? Darth Vader/Hayden Christensen was one of the best things about Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Depends on who you actually saw, was it Terence Stamp or Michael Shannon?

    Superman (July 11th, 2025)

Surely in this age of actors resurrecting roles from their past it's time for Nic Cage to play Superman?

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Hopefully Favreau and Filoni will "subvert expectations" and have this show have nothing to do with the Sequel Trilogy. Afterall, Disney where happy for Rian Johnson to "subvert expectations".

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

I realise that what I am asking for may be; 1. too much 2. coming from a strong sense of fan entitlement

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

I guess I am just hoping for there to be a point either in this series or the Ahsoka series where the Star Wars story can "end" in a way without necessitating the in the form of loose ends and unresolved plot points. Much like how Return of the Jedi "ends" the Star Wars story in a neat way...
