I completely forgot about "Dinosaur"! Which is a shame, because I actually quite enjoy that movie. The ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida is great too!
The only other modern films I can think of with dinosaurs as a major part of the plot are King Kong (2005) and The Land Before Time, and even those are from Universal Studios!
I would love a modern day remake of The Land That Time Forgot.
I took it more as;
"I am what you made me" - This is in response to Obi-Wan's "What have you become?!", a reference to his physical form. "I am what you made me" refers to his burnt, cybernetic self, as that is what Obi-Wan is clearly looking at when he asks him "what have you become?!"...
PT haters saying that the PT was too bright and stylised in stark contrast to the dark, grey, industrial and grimy pallette of the OT (a conscious decision to reflect the prosperity and freedom of the Republic era and the oppression of the Imperial era), yet now complaining that the Obi-Wan...
Personally, I liked this series (the finale I LOVED). It was not perfect, but nothing is (except Raiders of the Lost Ark).
Amusing to see the usual suspects crapping on things with hypocritical and minor critique blown into staggeringly exaggerated proportions in order to consolidate and...
Whatever, sounds like Talibane has decided to hate this regardless of anything.
All those examples of people being near Vader are also in rooms full of other individuals. I can't see anyway anyone could get away with assassinating him without being in a position whereby their rank and title...
This is a common misconception. Only the Grand Inquisitor speaks to Vader in person. Reva had no face to face time with Vader until she was made Grand Inquisitor ("It is an honor to be invited aboard, Lord Vader"). All of her interaction with him prior to that was via hologram. In fact, I'm not...
I just looked it up out of curiosity. The original actor who portrayed Dodgson in "Jurassic Park" is a guy called Cameron Thor... as of 2016 he is a registered sex offender
Thankfully we have ANH to assure us that Obi-Wan won't get Luke Skennedy-ed.
Unless, he has a bad moment but picks himself up again by the team we reach ANH.
I ******* hope not.
Nope, not implying that. I'm saying that Obi-Wan is so out of touch and disconnected that he is probably not aware of many things happening outside of Tatooine and is not getting involved. He's probably not even aware of many things happening on Tatooine itself, such is his current state of...
Bloody hell, all these negative conclusions after only 2 out of 6 episodes and less than 24 hours (with some conclusions coming from people who have not even watched those 2 episodes yet!).
At least you are consistent 😆
I'm talking about the presence of the Empire on Tatooine (a backwater planet in the Outer Rim with little to no significance to the Empire) and Obi-Wan's isolation at this point in the story.
ROTJ is 13 years after this show. The Empire only goes to Tatooine in ANH because the droids' escape...
I mean they do explicitly show that Obi-Wan has become a recluse and has completely cut himself off in the 10 years following the fall of the Jedi Order in "Revenge of the Sith". The Empire has had no real presence on Tatooine until now. So it fits that Obi-Wan has no awareness of what is going...
