I don't even pay attention to release dates. I just pre-order what I want and forget about it until an email shows up saying it's ready to ship.

I just can't take the figure seriously when it's designed to have bare arms and they just went with cheap, glossy, unpainted plastic. This is bare minimum stuff for me. I don't need or ask for every company to make their own custom bodies for every character, but at least paint the thing.

These better be based on Arcane or we, uh, riot.

The game model is only ever a start. You still need a talented sculptor to go in and add the physical details that the game model only pretends to have.

A headsculpt can make or break a figure for me. It's partly why I'm pretty happy with the Shark Toys Barret. Head seems ripped directly from the game (because it probably is lol). I can look past him getting a stock strong man body instead of something absurdly over the top big like game Barret...

Got my Shark Toys Barret. He is extremely unposeable, but in general I think this hobby encourages people to treat everything that isn't 99% perfect as if it's complete trash. This Barret is quite decent, imo, better than people are treating it, especially if you intend to fill out a whole shelf...

Really wish this chart would go away. The renders are poorly scaled and the info is completely incorrect. All these numbers are taken from the original continuity and don't reflect the remake at all. Barret is at least a cm shorter than Sephiroth. Tifa and Aerith are virtually the same size...

We must be looking at different pictures because the pronounced corner is there on her brow in every single one of these images, even the one where she's frowning. The brow could maybe stand to be thicker but I don't tend to sweat that kind of stuff, the head is like an inch tall in real life.

Well, in other news, got my invoice for that Shark Toys Barret figure this morning. Hope it turned out okay.

2B has no real 1/6 figure, it's apples and oranges bringing up all the the other merch. The Superduck costume set is cheap garbage. At this point it seems pretty obvious GT isn't interested in doing a full Remake line, and if the best we can hope for is some more high quality one-offs, then 2B...

I adore these, but I don't $130 dollars each adore these.
