Replacement arms won’t fix the problem though, because those will just stain later anyway. Treating the fabric (either with detergent or - iirc - vinegar) to make sure it doesn’t bleed really isn’t a HUGE problem. Yeah, GT should issue out replacement arms because they really messed up on this...

Yeah, it didn’t look too difficult to me either, glad my theory was right! It’ll make experimenting with stain removal a lot simpler.

Does anyone know whether the classic “10% benzoyl peroxide” method used in fashion doll stain removal would damage the seamless arms? I plan on giving it the ol college try myself when my Zack arrives if no one knows, I was just curious.

Are you using the materia peg? I’m only asking because I pose and repose my Cloud and parade around with him and it’s never so much as wobbled, so to hear of such a drastically different experience is making me wonder if I jammed it or broke something…

It’s just a matter of balance. The figures are made for an underserved market in the first place. If access to them becomes TOO caged off, they’re not really fulfilling their purpose, and lbr it’s easy to say ‘well who cares’ until you turn out to be on the other side of the gate than you...

I think I’ll go for the putty method. I have some clear silicone ear plugs I use for pretty much everything, this seems right up their alley lol

FWIW: My GT Cloud came out of the box with a tiny tear on the inside of the upper arm, and I’ve kept him in the “Buster Sword Held Over The Shoulders” pose, and not only have no new tears appeared but the original one has yet to grow either. So.
