Paid my invoice from Kit on Friday. Even though this appears to be mediocre I'm still excited to finally have Ripley back in the collection. I had the HT Power Loader Ripley years years back when I first started collecting and ended up selling due to space and funds. Plus it was pretty dollish...

It does feel a bit meh. But I do have it on order so it'll be a nice placeholder till HT gives us a better one. I might actually take a shot at rehairing this one in the meantime.

I recently got my collection remodeled to move my projector screen wall to a new wall that used to have a window there, now it opens the room up more and part of my 1:6 detolf collection swapped sides to where the projector...

Yeah as nice as that diorama is, that's a pretty hard sell. A. Cost. B. Size and C. It's not exactly my "go to" scene when thinking of Potter. Maybe for the serious diehards might buy it, but I'm more than happy with the InArt diorama included with the Deluxe.

Thanks guys. He's definitely a bit of a mixed bag and I did what I could to bring out the best of the sculpt. I may look at going the custom route for this sculpt. Or even a quality repaint might help? As for the diorama, yes it's by Kaustic Plastik. If you can't find one. I'd recommend you...

Yeah that neck looks like cheap plastic doll ****. Guess I'll look at replacing it with a better neck that I'll have to paint up to match the sculpt the best I can. Should really change their brand name to Sh!+show.

Yup that's my biggest let down in the figure overall. I'm thinking once my backlog of preorders and custom obligations are full filled I'll be sending this sculpt off to Jacob for a proper paint/hair work. As for price, I think the license cost might be eating up a lot of that.

Its the only Clint character/figure I want in the collection so I still ordered.

If you ordered with Kit I don't see how you wouldn't be taken care of in the event there's a QC issue. If you want it why would you want to miss it? IMO this is going to be one of those releases people kick themselves for missing out on in the future. Especially the Deluxe.
