I initially dismissed this as a cynical Zemeckis/Hanks/Wright vehicle (which may still be true), but after discovering it was based on a graphic novel I've taken a second look. You've heard of single-take movies, this is a single-camera-angle movie. The ageing and de-ageing looks pretty schmick.

Reminds me, how many here thought the "Jedi" in ROTJ referred to Anakin rather than the Jedi Order? I always assumed it was the Jedi order, and apparently George has confirmed this. Plus it "rhymes" with Revenge of the "Sith". But there seems to be a widespread belief it refers to Anakin.

While the Snyderverse remains my quintessential depiction of Batman (sorry), it's great having these "elseworlds" to indulge in as well. Not only the Reeves-verse but the silly-but-fun Flash movie (which is probably an official part of the DCU but I can't bring myself to accept it).

The final boss battle saved Revolutions for me. It beat MoS by a decade!

Not to mention great visual and costume design, concepts and exposition! Me too!

Phantasm of the Opera? I'm going in with even lower expectations than I had for TB. Hopefully they'll be exceeded again.
