Same. Ive just been watching the videos and look at the amazing pics. While I dont have the BD version in hand, it doesn't look like a rehash of ESB. I had that one, and the BD version looks way better as far as proportion and tailoring.

This is random- but if youre a Sith Lord thats really concerned with protecting the family jewels from lightsaber slashes...surely, there are better options than a "cushy pillow" cod piece?

I drilled a hole in the bottom of my detolf and ran the cords along the edges and down too the floor. sadly. No idea how I would route a usb cable now. There's not enough space between the glass shelf and case to run a thick USB cable the same way as the thin diode cords.

Thanks to everyone who posted the videos. Sadly, I realize there is no reasonable way to display Vader with the light up feature in an IKEA detolf. Even if you were to run a cord through the front of the door corner, it would still look so illogical.

I sold my ESB Vader for this one. To me, he will be the only Vader needed in my collection as Im not picky about all the details of each version. My main gripe with the ESB Vader is the dome that fell off if you breathed on it. Glad its out of here and Im getting a toasty Sith Ani.

I won't be ordering. However, no denying that this isn't a great figure. :) p.s. Dump yo CW Ani now.

I think we are all fine with weathering on the ROTJ version. Although many of us remember him as a shiny golden top spinning around on Endor. :) The problem is that the orange paint doesnt makes sense. Brass has a brown Patina as it tarnishes. Not sure how HT lost sight of the prototype- but...

I want this figure... but Im still looking at the price like....

Anyone like me? Youre going to buy it but are kind of just waiting it out?
