EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

While I was hoping for a bit more with this figure since it opens the TWOK era, and since Saavik is one of my favorite characters (no clue why 🤷‍♂️), but I think those charges are a bit harsh. As I mentioned earlier, I was crossing my fingers that her paint up would be in line with some of EXO’s...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

That’s the Paint Master done by Viola Wittrocka for the production piece reference. The factory team did a commendable job, but they had no chance of matching the one-of-a-kind Paint Master that likely took days to complete.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

As I’m sure you all know, a Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind, and as I’m sure you all ALSO know, this is how I always live my life. But through it all, there must be occasions when these traits are challenged or there would be no valor or value in them…

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

I see what you’re saying about the Barbie-fied aspect of the sculpt, but that can be at least 90%defeated with lighting. But as discussed a few posts back, we’re apparently never going to get a SNW Pike/Spock level paint up on a female character. Mainly, I would guess, because the softer skin...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

My one for sure nit to pick with Saavik is that her Monster Maroon turtleneck is way too high. And this seems to be a feature specific to the production figures because the height was perfect on all of the promo photos. Other than that, however, the tailoring is spectacular! Her bridge...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

Saavik’s hair was least brown and closest to black in TWOK, but it was dark brown for sure. But it’s a nit that isn’t going to both me much. I’m sure @davejames will touch it up for us and then we can see if the difference is worth the effort.

Same. This is my most anticipated figure by far at the moment. I REALLY want to see how she turned out FIRST HAND!

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I looked through this article and I'm having doubts as to its validity, but based on the logic reported I guess it could be in at least some ways accurate. This issue being that tariffs are almost always reserved for large commodity type imports that directly compete with domestically produced...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

Hmmmmm........ I never want to put two much weight on internet photos that could perhaps suffer from non-ideal lighting and possible lens distortion, but these first in-hand photos seem to be gently nudging me to two preliminary observations: 1. Assuming no, or limited, lens distortion, they...
