Star for sure looks larger. Not sold on them having ditched the entirely separate chest plate piece though. If I had to venture to guess, I’m going to say no.

Agreed that this figure is a quality figure. Definitely one of my favorites in my overall collection, and probably currently the jewel of my MCU collection.

I believe he’s referring to the gritted teeth sculpt that comes with the deluxe set, not the sculpt that comes with this figure that they repainted to have with the eyes looking to the side for the deluxe set.

The JL figure heat vision sculpt looks good on this figure.

I do. I’ve generally never really been a fan of sculpts with eyes looking to the side as I feel it limits posing, unless you know for certain the pose you’re going for and it calls for a sculpt like that.

Agreed. I think this will be one of those cases that neither version really outdoes the other, it’s just a matter of personal preference, specifically Hoth look or Dagobah look. Some gripes aside with the SSC figure (which every figure has), I think it’s a very good effort by SSC.

Same here. Both are iconic in their own right. But ESB is my favorite SW film and I like the RG suit better than the R5 suit, so I’m more than fine with the former serving as my pilot Luke representation.

On the promo photos, the face for some reason does look a bit fat to me, I think for me that?s what?s throwing it off if anything. But I?m sure it?s just the photos. I like the sculpted hair a lot better than the rooted hair though. But I’m not really a fan of the minimalistic outfit.

What people are doing is purchasing the IW Cap figure and then modding then suit to make it comport with the EG suit. They cut off the top layer of fabric on the chest to expose the scales underneath (which looks way more accurate than the chest plate HT is going with on the actual EG Cap...
