Yeah I’m very happy that Dax is back to the drawing board. She’s one of my fave characters and she deserves a better sculpt than that prototype

Fingers crossed. The final product tends to look better in hand in regards to EXO-6. I’m pretty forgiving of EXO normally (EMH I’m looking at you…) but they definitely got their C team to work on this if this is the final result…

Pretty sure it’s just a prototype. Wouldn’t freak out. She’s also missing rank pips and her ponytail. I doubt Nanjin would release it like that. Anyway Jadzia is one of my favourite characters in all of Trek so it’s in instant buy from me! EDIT: on closer inspection I’d be more worried that...

Well I guess we’ll see in a few months if the final sculpt looks better than the prototype. Seems to be the trend.

I’ve learned that there is no rhyme or reason when it comes to China Post. My sisko arrived in 8 days yet my Kirk is still at the depot in Shenzhen. I assume getting close to Christmas things will take longer…

He looks great in that photo. Even the expression looks slightly different (for the better) compared to that screen grab from the EXO-6 video posted above.

Hmmm one could potentially assume that the “likeness” encompasses the entire figure. But if Nana has approved a season 5-6 look then it would be very odd to have a seasons 1-3 uniform. Also I’m only assuming that uniform based on the collar in the CG render. Could well just be a placeholder.

That’s the impression I’m getting off Nanjin from FB today. Maybe the uniform will be adjusted to match season 5-6 and the collar shown in the image above is just a placeholder. Sorry I know it probably makes me sound ungrateful, and believe me im not, just the collector in me. :-/

The high collar of her first few seasons uniform is gonna stand out against the rear of the crew. Doesn’t make a lot of sense :/

There’s a new picture up of a teased Kira on FB…hmmm not sure how I feel. It looks like a seasons 1-2 Kira and my OCD won’t cope with the latter seasons look of the rest of the figures. Also agree that I’m not seeing much Quark either. Looks like any other Ferengi.

I dunno, maybe I’m easily pleased but this photo of both figures look pretty great to me. Sculpt, paint look fine. I think EXO-6 have earned the benefit of the doubt to wait to see what they look like in hand as previous experience has shown they don’t often take the greatest of photos.
