InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Does it seem there is a greater variety of hair 'condition' on this Aragorn compared to Gandalf? I wonder if they have struggled with the apparent complexity of this hair style.

    Questions for Asmus

Would you consider releasing clothing/accessory sets for those characters that you've already done and where you are not planning to go back to? I'm thinking alternate outfits here, perhaps those less likely to be made. Rivendell/Council of Elrond Aragorn, Rivendell robes Elrond, final Azog...

    Questions for Asmus

This is goods news; glad to have more folks doing LOTR figures (well, returning to doing figures in this case). What I'm most interested in from Asmus are figures that we wouldn't likely get from InArt. Obviously that's quite a lot of stuff. I just have some concerns with trying to re-tread old...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I really like what you've done with the hair on this one, toning down the curls.

1/6 NEXT Hot Toys STAR WARS Figure...?

Seems to be a Galen Erso coming next year, exclusive to SW Celebration in Japan. Typical, the one I am not going to! Interesting to go back to Rogue One with a new character that we've never seen before. I wonder if it's a sign of HT willing to go back and fill in some gaps (even if this is an...

    InArt Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 Figure

Having rewatched the Hobbit recently, I'm interested in getting this Thorin. Hope he goes up for preorder soon.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Their Gothmog figure really holds up. There's also a line of 1/10 scale-ish figures from Diamond Select Toys, with varying quality - the Moria Orc and Uruk are good though.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

The cynic in me thinks any hobbits will be well over 400 and without any kind of diorama or special stand piece. But if we were to be lucky and we're talking blue sky ideas, I'd like Frodo with Bag End door, Pippin with Moria well + dwarven skeleton, Sam with the front of a Lorien boat, and...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

As much as we grumble about the price of these (particularly myself), these will very likely never be cheaper. It's just how this hobby works, you get in early, miss out or pay more later (not always of course, sometimes you get lucky or something gets overproduced). So that's maybe something to...

    1/6 NOOZOOTOYS Gondor Guard (NZ003/NZ004/NZ00)

Hmm.... wondering what happened to these figures, coming up to the 2 year mark.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Yeah, I agree with this. The base just looks out of place to me, mostly because why would he be on the top of the battlements...? It doesn't really work as a base since it's a miniature.

    G.I. Joe: Classified 6" figures

Looks like the Dragonfly is shipping soon, received an email about confirmign address with a deadline of 24 Oct.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Not so awful really! I was watching FOTR yesterday and paying attention to hair (as you do) and the look changes throughout, sometime it's neat, others its messy; this is currently Gandalf atop Orthanc or fleeing across Moria!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Those are super crisp photos there, really doing well to showcase this Gandalf. And whatever futzting you've done with the hair has produced a great result.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

Was curious about Asmus' first Legolas (ie, FOTR version) and was surprised to see it didn't come with the Mirkwood gear either.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

Should have been a 2-pack at 400. I'd definitely get a pair at that price as would most people I imagine.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

The question I have at the moment, and this is really for the folks at Inart, is... 'is the higher price going towards improving consistency and ensuring high quality on the final production figure, because sure, you're charging us more for this, but is that extra money going towards the people...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

This feels like a price point based on 'whatever we think the market will pay'. There's no reason for the standard to cost what is the upper bracket of market price, in line with some of the most expensive offerings from other companies (eg, handcrafted copper armoured samurai figures). This is...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

In retrospect, the price for Legolas and the Ringwraith was expected given the prices for later Inart figures such as Paul Atreides and the Harry Potter figures. I do remember wondering why the Ron figure was going for so much.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

It is pretty pricey, and seems like we really should get his Mirkwood gear for this much - which is way more than Aragorn was right? Anyhow, got my preorder in. Good luck everyone.
