InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Had another look at mine (still boxed up) because the wide variation among photos here still continues to interest me. It hadn't blown me away when I first checked (and there was a foreign substance speck in the hair). Once you have it out of its protectiveness tub it looks more impressive. The...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

I like it and am definitely preordering this. It feels a bit bare compared to Aragorn, but maybe that means a lower price point. I suppose an extra bow meant an extra quiver and then extra arrows, which just pushed things too much in terms of costings and final price.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Legolas 1:6

Super news, looks really good so far. Excited to see some more pictures. Will be interesting to see what he will come with too. Mirkwood and Lorien bows perhaps? That's the Lorien one. I'll just say that the quivers are also different (the Mirkwood is much more plain brown version, compared to a...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

These are really great pictures and thanks for posting. It's weird because the sculpt/likeness looks fantastic in your pictures. I don't think even mine looks like this lol!

Such is the internet these days I can't tell if this is serious or not!

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Let's go! Very excited. I do wonder whether this will be the only Aragorn they make. He wears much the same throughout all 3 trilogies with the exception of Helm's Deep, the assault on Mordor... which, quick aside, is a really cool outfit imo, and then his Kingly garb. It's going to be...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

This is great news, especially so being the in the 952xx range. I do really appreciate the updates from Kit here too, so thanks.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Yeah it does look amazing. It seems that the production piece paint job isn't as slick but that's to be expected; I think that's the key difference that throws off some people. For me, the key here is futzing the hair because often it looks too curly. His hair is much straighter in the movies...

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - Chewbacca

This looks great, likely to be a preorder for me. I think the mouth looks a little odd because it's an articulated jaw.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Nazgul 1:6

It's always felt weird to me to have this on their list, which I suppose is another way of thinking this is a 'wasted slot'. Perhaps it would have been an easy figure to do and customers may have bought more than once. Still, this is the 'best headsculpts in the business' guys doing a figure...

InArt - The Walking Dead - Daryl Dixon 1/6 Scale Figure

    Wow that really looks great.

    MiniWork 1/12 Scale Northern Ranger

Very interesting! I would have absolutely loved this last year or pre-InArt. I may still pick this up because it looks good, has an ok likeness for this scale (compared to Toybiz and Diamond Select), and some of the perhaps weak accessories can be swapped out for what I've still got lying...

Hot Toys Phantom Menace Jar Jar Binks

The Darth JJ meme probably explains some of his resurgent popularity, even before Ahmed Best returned. At some point some people stopped loving it ironically I guess.

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - Chewbacca

This looks pretty good; I'd like to see more photos and the price, but this could be a PO of another HT at long last. Having C-3PO is a nice bonus. I'd hope too to have the bowcaster, with this billed as a more general ESB Chewie rather than Cloud City Chewie or whatever.

    Hot Toys The Acolyte Figures?

There isn't really a backlash against this show. It's a grossly magnified online thing, muddied in large part by people who haven't watched it or were never planning to watch it. The 14% score is utter nonsense for instance. What speaks more are the numbers of viewers and it's doing really well...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Two versions of this would have been great in retrospective, if not expensive. I really wanted to display him as the Amon Hen version, but I'd be a little worried about taking off (and putting back on later) the jerkin.

1/6 QORANGE QOTOYS QOM-1045 Vietnam War US Marine Corps in Hue (1968)

I'm confused with the listing saying that this release does not include the body and head, and the $20 difference compared to the other stuff that does include these things. I would have thought the body and the head sculpt were more than that difference? I believe the German WW2 sets (also...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I suppose for the above they had trouble with focus on their camera or there was something lost in the rendering or upload process. Which is to say that these photos don't seem the best representation of the sculpt and paint. Nevertheless, that it still looks really good is a positive sign. I...

Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

I wonder which Bruce Lee they're going to be doing (unless I have missed that reported previously) - Fist of Fury, Enter the Dragon, Way of the Dragon, Game of Death etc.
