Any hope of a 1/12 scale Captain Miller from "Private Ryan?"

Also late but the Saving Private Ryan 1/12 space is very crowded. Crazy Figure have released the entire SPR squad (accuracy of the head sculpts vary) - available individually as well as in a set with 2 'hedgehog' obstacles. There was also going to be a Captain Miller released by Soldier Story...

Asmus - Gandalf the White - Crown Line

I know that some monitors can show colours differently, but I would never say that it's 'very similar'. It's gone from a cream colour to a definite beige colour. And in that image, it looks almost the same colour as the outer cloak, and I don't think we'd ever want that beige being used for the...

Asmus - Gandalf the White - Crown Line

It looks pretty good, but for me the wrong colour skirt really throws it off (the beige is really noticeable on an all white/cream figure like this). It almost looks like Asmus used the colour of the reverse side of the skirt instead. There's also something a little off about the top shirt...

    1/6 NOOZOOTOYS Gondor Guard (NZ003/NZ004/NZ00)

These are described as being "Die casting alloy". -Gondor Guard helmet (metal) -Gondor Guard Anterior and posterior breastplate (metal) -Shoulder armor (metal) -Leg guards(metal) -Skirt armor (metal) I would suspect that these are good enough to pick up for the armoured pieces, but that the...

    1/6 NOOZOOTOYS Gondor Guard (NZ003/NZ004/NZ00)

These look rather quite nice and I'm estatic that it's Gondorian Soldiers.

ASMUS TOYS : Aragorn @ The Battle of Helm's Deep

I finally picked this one up, my first Asmus. I figured that this version of Aragorn is highly unlikely to be done by InArt and it's good offering as far as I could tell. Head sculpt's pretty good and acceptable (looks like Aragorn, even if perhaps not Viggo specifically). Aside from perhaps...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

This is a bit of a concern - the length of the robes is too short while the trousers are too long. The robe should come down to the same level as the trousers, covering the tops of the boots in a similar way. Why are the trousers so long? It looks pretty bad imo, like he's wearing his taller...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

If it's any consolation, the Aragorn feels fairly early and so may not be at the level yet, but could be by the time we get the same kind of amazing set of solicitation pictures as we had for Gandalf.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Perhaps, the paint on the eyes really throws it off. I think the InArt looks better.

Pop Toys 1/6 - EX051 Viking Female Warrior (Lagertha)

(Pedant alert). The mail is hanging in the wrong direction on the skirt, rows should go across not down. Given that making this stuff is really hard, like painstaking going blind work, you'd think that they'd want to get it right (and it's an easy fix too).

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Funny, I think the mouth is the thing selling it at the moment. The eyes and brow aren't quite right. If you look only at the bottom half of the sculpt (like block/cut off the top half), you can see Viggo pretty clearly. The top half not so much.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

He doesn't seem to be wearing a shirt yet. I wonder how easy it will be to remove the coat for an Amon Hen version?

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I wouldn't say it looks horrible. It's probably the best likeness that I've seen at any scale. Might be that the eyes and brow off just enough to throw it off overall. I think the mouth and chin are pretty spot on. So this is both a FOTR and TTT Aragorn I guess. Price will really be a...

    Any good 1/12 Samurai figures?

The non-armoured samurai from TWToys is Musashi Miyamoto from the Vagabond manga (and is slightly stylized as such). TWToys have announced a second in that series - Sasaki Kojiro. The deluxe version includes 2 versions of the character in different soft goods outfits...
