Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

That's interesting that Rogue One is #1, and it's unsurprising for the likely demographic, but it is wrong! Rogue One is a solid movie, but is too inconsistent to be the best, and is elevated by the awesome Vader scene at the end.

Agree with all except TOD - the rest are just trash.

What the hell kind of a response is that? What does that even mean? If you think that's an example of where critics disliked a movie and audiences liked it, check out RT for Rogue One (84% critics, 87% audience): https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rogue_one_a_star_wars_story

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

I can't disagree with this, although I can come up with a competent top 5: ESB (great) SW (great) ROTJ (very good) ROTS (very good) RO (good) Everything else is pretty much hot garbage when it comes to movies and the TV shows. Mando S1 and S2 were 'very good', and I'm glad I haven't seen S3...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

Your reply has nothing to do with what I said. I said that any time a Disney Lucasfilm movie has been disliked by the critics, there hasn't been one where the audience liked it too, unlike say Super Mario Bros, which is hated by critics, but loved by audience. I also said that the Lucasfilm...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30th, 2023)

While in general it is a good point, with Lucasfilm, there hasn't been a film that the critics have hated and the audience has liked, and their track record since the Disney purchase has been abysmal.

Iconiq Studios / El1ev1en / Kai Studio: American Psycho: Patrick Bateman

I'm happy with it and don't have any regrets. It will definitely be the rain coat, screaming head and bloody axe for me!

Iconiq Studios / El1ev1en / Kai Studio: American Psycho: Patrick Bateman

I got an email from Kit saying that it will be posted today - huzzah!

It's the film that launched Bale's adult Hollywood career.

I just got my invoice from Kit, which I'll pay in the morning. The email says it will ship in two days.

Hopefully this means my invoice is imminent!

It sold out on Lego Australia before lunchtime on day 1. I'll get it eventually...

    Super Mario Brothers The Movie

I just saw this today, and it was excellent. $900m worldwide box office after this weekend too. It's been a while since a Disney animated movie hit these heights.

Berserk Collectibles Show Us Some Berserk/Manga Disscussion

I really hope they re-release the Guts figures. I won't be interested in Griffith without at least one Guts figure.

    Toys Battalion The Champion (Shazam)

Thanks Omega. It's not bad for the price, and it may be the only movie 1/6 Shazam figure we'll get. His abs are a little too prominent and he's a bit skinny compared to the first movie, so maybe a body swap will be required. I'll be waiting to see if we get a Hot Toys one, but my guess is not...

Redman Toys 1/6 Tom - Top Gun Maverick

Hopefully someone (not a custom maker) will release a Maverick figure in his flight suit...

    1/6 Hot Toys MMS699 & MMS700 ROTJ Darth Vader

Which is why I don't own the current versions of the OT and own the 4K77 project versions, as I hated Shaw being replaced by Hayden.

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Reading about the current season makes me glad I haven't watched it. The end of S2 feels like a much better ending to the story of Mando and Grogu, so I'll be leaving it there.

1/6 Premier Toys - PT-0006 The Martian Version 2 (Deluxe Edition)

Thanks! I don't know how I missed this thread, and when I searched under "Mars Rescue" I got nada. I should have searched for "The Martian"!
