InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Just wait until you've paid off your mortgage, then you'll be one of them.

    Avatar: The Way of Water

Avatar has the advantage with unadjusted numbers of inflation over 4-5 years, plus the 3D price difference. It would be interesting to see a comparison of number of tickets sold. That said, it's great to see this movie make a profit as I did enjoy it.

The Blu-Ray Upcoming, News & Info Thread

Personally I'll be glad to just get 1-4 without 5 and 6 which I'll never watch. Even though Rocky is objectively the best film, it's 3 and 4 that I rewatcb the most. Hopefully they'll release a full 1-6 box set one day though.

1/6 Hot Toys - Peacemaker The Series - Peacemaker Collectible Figure

Exactly. They've also emailed this to everyone who has it on wait list, so if five figures are available and if there are 100 people emailed, the first five to order it will get it, and the rest will miss out.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

We'll likely just have to wait longer to receive it, but I'm fine with that!

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

2030 is very optimistic. I'm thinking 2034 in time for the TMNT 50th anniversary at best.

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

These are great, but as they aren't related to any actual TMNT property that I care about (comics, original cartoon and original movie), they don't mean anything to me. They'd look cool on the shelf, but not $400 cool.

    Black Adam

Thanks - ultra super duper special limited deluxe steelbook edition in 4k purchased.

    Black Adam

I liked the movie just fine. It's not a masterpiece, but it kept me entertained for two hours, and was better than a lot of other superhero movies (not hard), the Star Wars ST, TPM and AOTC.

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

I'm no TW fan, but to be fair it clearly says the "estimated" shipping cost, so it isn't the "advertised" shipping cost as stated. That said, the estimated cost is meant to be close to the actual cost, and not 3.3 times higher.

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

I don't recall seeing a first batch priority, but who knows. I do agree that we'll be waiting for a bit though, depending on whether they'll be sent from them directly in Sydney, or if they'll be shipped from China.

    Avatar: The Way of Water

It doesn't seem to be unpopular on here at least, as we've moved into a Nolan sucks conversation. Personally, I am a fan of Nolan, but some of his movies are overrated, such as Dunkirk. I do really like Inception, while Interstellar and Tenet are a bit indulgent. Dunkirk was good, but not one...

Your top 1/4 (Quarter Scale) figures you want made?

But, now that I've posted twice on here without a list, if I did collect 1/4 scale, below are my Top 5: Any Tobey Maguire Spider-Man (if I had to have a one figure collection, this or a 1/6 scale version would be it) Captain America STRIKE Suit (EG suit is my #2) Superman - any of the DCEU ones...

Your top 1/4 (Quarter Scale) figures you want made?

Haha, you did indeed enable me with the QS Spidey, but it didn't really fit in with the rest of my collection. I really do want the Hot Toys T-800 Endoskeleton though, so if I get that...NO! Must resist!!!

Your top 1/4 (Quarter Scale) figures you want made?

A great list Zurdo. I've managed to avoid the rabbit hole of 1/4 scale, other than briefly owning Spider-Man HC, but it's a fantastic scale!

As long as they don't invent virtual dust that you'll have to pay a virtual maid to "dust".

    Avatar: The Way of Water

Ah, thanks for the insight into the younger generation. At least we buy tangible things, rather than virtual stuff. I've only just started getting into Lego to a limited extent as something creative to spend my time on.

    Avatar: The Way of Water

Yeah, that's a good point. Kids don't give a **** about action figures these days - if it isn't on a screen, they don't care. It's pretty sad that they can just move on to the next thing with such ease. From a materialism perspective it is probably a good thing, but it makes me wonder what they...

    Avatar: The Way of Water

Honestly, it's a film you need to see for yourself. I was a bit worried about the lack of story, but while watching it in 3D, I found I was caught up in the world and the development of the new characters (not ground-breaking by any means, but more than adequate for the movie). Most of the...
