If they can find something close to that herringbone pattern I will be very happy :) Could even try printing this pattern on the cloth and seeing how that turns out? How is the progression going with the coat collar?

    [bbkill] UPDATE P.68 cast arrived~

Re: girl with a tattoo custom headsculpt Looking good! I think the back of the neck needs more of a curve into the head. Is that object printed? You'll get a much smoother result with Perfactory printing ;)

    HT DX05 - Indiana Jones - in-hand images

just realised it is actually hollow! Though if only the lid on the bottom half had a big opening hole. I'd mod it, though wouldn't know how to drill a hole that big. Wouldnt want to cut it all wonky either :S

I should rephrase that question :lol I guess it kills brain cells which isn't good. I read it can cause cancer though I'm hoping me breathing it it this one time wont cause any major long term damage. With all the chemicals used in resins, silicone and paint remover does anyone use a breathing...

Attn: Custom Artists!! Newbs, ask Questions here!

A rather off topic question, though I was using nail polish remover to take paint off a head. I inhaled quite a bit of it and now got a bit of a sore throat :sick Is this stuff really harmful? :(

If you've got a dremil and stand you can compensate bigger drill bits with cutters like this

    Skin tone resin?

For me the most realistic looking heads I've seen always have a good skin colored resin as a base. I get the basic gist of how the resin is made ie. mixing dye with clear resin. Though I think it's whats in the magic mix that is a bit of a mystery. The only skin color dye I've come across is...

    Rick Deckard: Blade Runner

looking good! I actually never thought about using the dremel though would save alot of elbow grease ;) I could never tell if his shoes in that pic were dirty or browned up as the laces do seem to be brown.

I think the corduroy will not only look more accurate but probably make the tailors job more easy ;) I do like the stitched in look as thats what's on the actual coat, though unless they can stitch an extra line between each line already on there (which might prove tricky) corduroy is the way to go.

    Rick Deckard: Blade Runner

how did you remove the stripes? did you slice them off with a blade then sand them down? Can we see a close up of the shoes? :)

    Rick Deckard: Blade Runner

Wow! Even though the head sculpt is more christopher lambert than Harry Ford, that paint job is superb! Really brings that head to life! Where did you get the shoes? I had to order a pair of these and modify them...
