    Godzilla Collectibles Thread

I found a site called Awesome Collector that the reviews and comments on seemed to support as trustworthy, they specialize in these types of figures, so I went with them. I'll spend a little more than I would have with Sideshow but that's on me.

X Plus Godzilla Minus One is now waitlisted for both “versions.” Anyone know of a reputable source to try for this figure elsewhere for around $200? Don’t know why I waited too long.

So apparently what I have pre-ordered now is the Godzilla Minus -1 SH MonsterArts B&W version. I've been watching some reviews online and the opinions towards SH Monster arts seems to be mixed, especially towards the color G-1 version available now; so much so I decided to also pre-order the...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Disney makes 70% of their profits from the parks, 30% of that from the Orlando parks. Look at the numbers and you see Disney is losing hundreds of millions of dollars in theaters and streaming. The parks are subsidizing those financial failures, which explains Disney. Star Trek has not done much...

It makes me almost wish they just stopped the story with this one, it's so perfect. I have that S.H. Monster arts figure pre-ordered. It's pricey for a 6" figure, but it boasts some decent articulation for the design so I'm hoping it proves worth the money. This will be the first Godzilla figure...

    Godzilla Collectibles Thread

I was never much of a Godzilla fan (at least since I was a kid) but after finally getting to see Godzilla Minus One I NEED this figure! That movie blew me away and the realization of the Godzilla monster was spot on for me, right down to the look of the eyes.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I have learned that just because content is being created, that doesn't mean it is turning a profit. Apparently the CW never turned a profit on anything they generated. Paramount is in financial problems. D+ is a disaster. Unless you are Netflix, streaming was not the gold mine everyone...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Look at the numbers and you see Disney has killed everything they've acquired from Marvel to Star Wars to Indiana Jones. They've eviscerated what once was Lucasfilm. Trek had an opportunity there during the beginning of the end of SW to fill in that void and it was botched. Other than the Trek...

1/6 Hot Toys - POTC5 - Jack Sparrow Figure (Artisan Edition + Regular) Collectible Figure

With current reports of the Depp era truly being over and a proposed Margot Robbie AND a second reboot Pirates movies being pursued by Disney (both female led casts) this figure for me serves as the final goodbye to the Pirates movies and a kind of tombstone. So happy they made this. (y)...

NECA - Vincent Price Ultimate Figure

This was the first instant buy release announcement for me for the sculpt alone, then you add all those accessory options and WOW! I've reached out to a local small business I use for these kinds of releases and he said some items NECA has been selling strictly on their site and then they may...

I like that the long front shirt looks to cover the NECA diaper.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

McDiarmid, IMO, absolutely carries that last movie. Once they killed off Christopher Lee, Ian was the only reason to keep watching. He seemed to be having a lot of fun, and that is just enjoyable to watch. Fun villains are great.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

No worries. Ultimately at his point, when you analyze the current state and what has been done to so many characters and stories, Star Wars is a dead franchise (thanks KK and Disney) but it is nice to reminisce. For as goofy as that last lightsaber scene with Yoda the Frog was, I always liked...

I hate the PT as much as I hate the ST, but this figure looks great and I love the sculpt. If it came with a second cackling head sculpt I would definitely buy one. This will look phenomenal on a shelf.
