    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Popcultcha was actually the cheapest. At least for a little while. It was $504 AUD including 10% GST at one stage. So for anyone outside Australia, that’s 458.19 AUD. So that’s about $290 USD plus shipping. And anyone with points/pennies rewards could have knocked off another $50 AUD, or 10% off.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

That’s our weak Aussie dollar price. You want USD.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Well either competitors did, or Queen themselves may make periodic reviews to ensure everyone is complying with any agreed to pricing guidelines. I'm guessing that a place like Popcultcha probably received a much greater wholesale discount than some others, but at the same time pricing...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

I'm not sure why you're saying that, but Popcultcha always do the preorder discount for Hot Toys. Up to and including the new Wanda and young Barry figures that were just put up for preorder.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Well, I heard that Queen got in contact with Sugo, but that only had them increase it by like $5, as I guess they were borderline. And Popcultcha has nearly always had 10% discounts on preorders. But I've never seen them lift it so quickly, especially recently; so I'm guessing Queen got in...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Given that there were places that you could preorder it from between $300 to $400 USD shipped, that price is definitely a rip-off.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Just curious, but given your purchasing numbers aren't you getting this wholesale? As I'm sure Popcultcha and Sugo must be, in order for their pricing to make sense.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Popcultcha's 10% preorder discount has ended. Not sure when that happened though. I know Sugo increased their price by a slight amount, a day or two after they originally put it up for preorder. Supposedly requested by Queen Studios, as it didn't quite meet their pricing guidelines. And...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

That's what I was told many years ago. Which is why, for any issues, Popcultcha/Ikons has to correspond directly with Sideshow to enquire about replacements for many of the more costly pieces such as from Prime 1 Studios etc. So, if Sideshow doesn't get such pieces in, it's unlikely for...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

With Hot Toys, that's because Popcultcha's allotment is organised by Sideshow. Which means more often than not we get it 2-4 months after Sideshow receives their batch. However, with InArt, an Australian license exists, and as such Popcultcha doesn't go through Sideshow. How this will affect...

Hot Toys Scarlet Witch Artisan Edition - Avengers Endgame

We’re just going on about semantics. Both brands are capable of being works of art, but at the end of the day, they’re both more or less toys. Just ask anyone outside the hobby and my guess is that over 99% of them would consider both toys. But without InArt, would Hot Toys have started this...

Hot Toys Scarlet Witch Artisan Edition - Avengers Endgame

Big problem Prime 1 would have to tackle first. Get a Marvel license. I have dozens of Prime 1 pieces, and all but one of them are of DC characters. And keep in mind that Queen is probably still working on their 1/4 or now maybe 1/3 Wanda statue. Their first iteration wasn't well received, so...

Hot Toys Scarlet Witch Artisan Edition - Avengers Endgame

It all depends on who you order through. I could get the InArt Superman for about $290 USD shipped from Popcultcha. (though obviously no rooted hair, I guess)

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

As long as you don't get hit by a customs charge, it should be plenty cheap enough to offset any shipping. I believe it's currently about $290 USD plus shipping (it's free for local/domestic shipping). So, unless you think shipping is going to be over a hundred dollars, I think it'll be cheaper...
  15. P

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Probably because Popcultcha isn’t willing to incorrectly label their shipments.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Popcultcha received a few Queen pieces even before Sugo did (Spidey bust and 1/2 scale Cap off the top of my head), and Sugo can get Queen statues and busts anywhere from 0-12 months earlier than Spec. And given that InArt has licence to distribute directly...

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

I just have to learn to be patient, as Popcultcha has always been fairly slow in processing anything.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

As I mentioned, it's even cheaper than USD retail from Popcultcha if you can stack another member/pennies 10% off discount. And on top of that, both stores offer free domestic shipping.

    InArt: 1/6 Superman (Cavill)

Damn, I just noticed that Popcultcha finally has this up for preorder. This is what I get for not waiting, even though I knew InArt had license to sell to Australia. I preordered from Sugo for $525 AUD ($336 USD) shipped, but from Popcultcha I could've got it for $453.60 AUD ($290 USD) shipped.

Queen Studios: The Dark Knight - Batman (Christian Bale) Life-Size Bust

There is no cowl version bust. It’s just the unmasked Bale bust.
