Infinity Studio: Bale Batman Life-Size Bust

I'm just scared what the shipping will be for anyone who purchases through them.

Infinity Studio: Bale Batman Life-Size Bust

Ordered via Sugo. I preordered Selina Kyle from them for $5K AUD, but this one came out to $6K AUD shipped (which is about $4,080 USD). I can’t wait to display the pair of them side by side.

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batwing

Unboxing, Assembly and Wall-mounting of 1989 Batwing This thing is beautiful! Almost makes me want it, but I just didn't have the available wall space.

And by the way, just in case you didn't perceive my sarcasm, I do agree with you.

Why waste the money when you’ve got a large chunk of your customer base saying it’s good enough, and we don’t want to spend anymore than absolutely necessary, according to them.

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

It depends on one’s definitions of kickbacks. He could be receiving a commission based on many different variables. Or he receives a flat amount for advertising. Or he receives a discount for everything he purchases through TW. We have no way of knowing. For all we know, he may be happy with...

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

Danoby2 can be an arse at times. I find that he can be as tight in his opinions, as much as Justin is loose in his. They’re just opposite ends on the same spectrum; where one likes only things in his limited view, whereas the other loves anything and everything.

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

The collecting world is much wider than many here believe. JazzInc & Joost have been around for years, and had met a demand that no one knew that they wanted or needed, with his unlicensed Star Wars dioramas/vehicles for the 1/6 community. They were relatively pricey, but for anyone who could...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Unfortunately this past two years I've been on this life size (silicone) bust kick, and those things aren't cheap. I can't wait to receive the Anne Hathway Selina Kyle bust. It's got to be one of the most accurate to actor production pieces out there. And then I hope to pair it with an eventual...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Unfortunately I actually love the MCU (as well as DC), so the amount of options out there is really hurting my savings.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

I wish only 5% of their stuff interested me. At last count I had about 3 dozen Hot Toys items on preorder (but I plan to cancel maybe about a dozen of them), and as many orders as I have, dollar value wise it probably doesn't even equate to 1/3 of the dozen orders I have for Queen, Infinity and...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Sometimes I forget this is the figure thread, rather than statues. But as long as you purchase about 2 figures or 1 statue a year, you can pretty much get 10% pennies off of every future order with a bit of planning and restraint.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Maybe I should've wrote $725 USD. Given that most often we discuss in USD on this forum, I didn't think it was necessary. It's simple math. $1,300 AUD *90%(preorder discount) *90%(10% pennies discount etc) *0.69(currency translated to USD). Given the lead time before shipping, you can pretty...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Damn it. Sometimes it really does looks like Popcultcha has the best prices around. At least for locals, the shipped price, after all possible discounts is approximately $725. We might have to wait a bit longer than most to receive it, but every dollar saved just goes to our never ending list...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

You should use those 10% coupons on multiple items rather than on a single item, as the savings can add up if you purchase multiple items a year.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

I hate when that happens. The last time I had to obviously open up the box there, take off the top styrofoam, and fold up the shipper/art boxes. That was super fun to do while it was drizzling. It was for the Infinity Gauntlet.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Why? Not all stores allow for pickup. I might from time to time pick up smaller items from Sugo, but for those life size busts from Queen and Infinity I always get those delivered. But if it’s only a matter of you not being home during work hours, just open up a free Parcel Locker address...

But it doesn’t come with the shield, so is it going to have the same issues?

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Things rarely sell out from Popcultcha. And given their preorder discounts haven’t been disappearing until the item gets in stock, you’ve got plenty of time to preorder. When I used to rely on their pennies, I used to bulk buy items to save on coupons. Like I would put a handful per order every...
