Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

What are these other Australian stores? The ones I notice, usually get them around the same time as Popcultcha as they’re all usually sourced from Ikon’s (which I think is Popcultcha anyway, just the Wholesale arm). Zing, Sugo usually have pieces pop up at the same time, and I know I’ve noticed...

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

I preordered it from Sugo for $1,460 AUD. I can't wait to get it in.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Much, much.......later. Their stock essentially comes from Sideshow. So, a minimum of two months after Sideshow starts to ship them out.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Looks like I was spot on. After discounts (including 10% pennies etc) you can order this for exactly $1,053 AUD ($725 USD) shipped from Popcultcha for any Australians.

Yes. That's the whole point of theirs.

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

It’s extremely rare for Popcultcha to cost me more for a preorder for Hot Toys versus me getting it from Sugo. Honestly I don’t think it’s ever occurred. However, Sugo has previously dropped the price on a few items dramatically (by literally hundreds) when pieces arrived in stock, such as the...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

Nearly every comment is that this is good enough. So while we’re a community that loves to complain about the lack of effort on Hot Toys part when it comes to figure reissues, our acceptance of it for this particular piece, is probably why Hot Toys doesn’t bother to improve the molds. Why waste...

Hot Toys Batman (1989) Batmobile (Reissue)

That may be their retail price. But after additional early preorder/member/pennies discounts over at Popcultcha, I'm guessing it'll come out to $1,000 to $1,100 AUD shipped ($1,300*90%*90%=$1,053 AUD). More often than not, I get Hot Toy pieces from them in hand at a cost lower than Sideshow's...

Came in 30th. Just by randomly clicking A or B.

Queen Studios: Captain America - The Winter Soldier (Stealth Suit) 1:4

I got mine back in October/November via Sugo, almost 3 months ago. If you order via Spec, there's always a delay with Queen pieces.

Hot Toys MMS Iron Man Mk1 DIECAST

I’ll probably cancel my preorder for this, and keep my 1/4 scale statue preorder from Queen.

    Jazz Inc - 1/6 1966 Batmobile

    Where's the bunk area?

1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

The Aragorn thread is moving so fast that I just gave up.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

For Australians it's probably cheaper to go through Sugo. Even with One Sixth Kit's free shipping, Sugo is probably $90 AUD ($60 USD) cheaper.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

As far as I'm concerned any minute difference anyone could possibly find in the face sculpt is simply due to expression, and not due to likeness discrepancies. If not for the sculpted beard, I doubt his own mother would be able to tell the difference.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Even if your assumption is currently correct, it won’t hold out for long. Given that InArt is the 1/6 figure arm for Queen Studios, any successful sculpt might be used with some minor adjustments for any statues that they also hold the license for. And I’ve always thought Queen Studios 1/4...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Now I’m wondering if even Infinity’s likely 1/2 scale statue version will be able to compete with this. Note that the others in the Infinity line also have fabric clothing and rooted hair. Their recent production release for Legolas looks pretty decent.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

As a statue collector too, part of me wishes that Queen Studios had the 1/3 scale license, so that they could simply upscale this exact sculpt to a future statue.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Queen's statue line hasn't been too bad at all. Excluding the Black Widow, their 1/4 MCU line has been promising. And they're about to release their Selina Kyle, and the factory shots currently look great. I'm pretty much going all in on Queen's recent MCU Silicone busts, and while they're not...
