Yes like a timed release. The edition size would be dictated by the amount of preorders in that amount of time. Inart does that. You currently have until October 28 to preorder the Henry Cavill Superman for example.

I think with the way Inart's effort looks right now, the JND gets more praise. JND got the base sculpt right, but the paint application and hairstyle need to be tweaked on the Superman statue.

People ordered this because it has a small ordering window compared to a regular release. It's limited. I stopped preordering figures and wait until they actually release to see how the final product comes out, and see if I still want it. Which is what you can do with the sculpted hair version...

Wow how did it crack? Did you display your figure outside or repeatedly take the suit off and put back on? Mine has been standing in a detolf and still looks mint. In fact the suit on my 1989 Keaton Batman is still intact.
