Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I've checked numerous times over the last few days and the 2-pack is still currently listed at €500. That price hasn't changed from what I can see. Here's what I found: The day after the 2-pack went up for sale it was listed at €500. I thought that was a fair price. Thought about it, checked if...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

Well, I sent Infinite a message yesterday but failed to hear anything back yet. With the currency conversion won't Sideshow's price be about $110 more in U.S. dollars? Infinite's €500 comes to just over $550 U.S., while Sideshow is listing the set for $665 U.S. There's still shipping and duties...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

That's why I posted the Sideshow link so quickly. Please do let us know what the process is for getting a refund on the NRD from KP. I too would have gone with Sideshow over KP for my order. Had I waited a day... but that's the thing about offering a very limited number (only 200 units) "web...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I too thought the set was exclusive to KP. It's $665 US at Sideshow. https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/dracula-dracula-and-van-helsing-infinite-statue-912249

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

They're up on Sideshow now, including the 2-pack set limited to 200, but it's more expensive there. I was a little surprised to see the set there and imagine some portion of the total 200 are allotted between KP and Sideshow. Don't really know how that works. OSK also has them up now for a fair...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I like the neutral sculpts for both, but especially Dracula's. What happened to the price of the 2-pack (with coffin)? It just went down from €610 to €500 (from a €150 to €122.50 deposit). Did they make a mistake earlier or later...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I have to admit, I don't really like this sculpt as much as the previous we saw. Things looked better in portrait than in profile.

Action Figure Mezco One:12 Collective - (1:12 scale) DC Comics Figures

I don't think any chemical product is safe for silicone. From what I understand of silicone is that you only need to clean it with water and some mild soap and then treat it with talc or baby powder to keep it sealed, otherwise it remains tacky. Anything beyond that is detrimental to the...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

Yeah, that's it! It's been too long of a wait, but now we have some definitive Hammer 1:6 figures. After 20 years I can put my custom Van Hellsing project away and move on to the Infintie/Kaustic release.

If you had to choose a 1/6 Vader?

I have all of the Hot Toys 1:6 Vaders (didn't buy the 1:4) and think they're all are okay, but I'm not a stickler for details and extreme accuracy. Of the four I think the Tarkin/Vader 2-pack came out the best. It's like HT tweaked all the various issues with the previous three before settling...

    EXO-6 Star Trek "Voyager" Figures

Mine isn't like that. I have a clean seam without any pinching at that spot. It looks worse in the second pic from the way the light shines on the stitch to create more shadow and depth. I wonder if you can pull on it a bit to pop it out and stretch it a little to avoid the bunching of that...

Present Toys - 1/6 PT-57-PT-58 Ghost Hunting Squad (Ghostbusters)

They look bloated, tired and crestfallen from all the years of chasing ghosts. "Who you gonna call? Sad-Ghostbusters!" The outfits seem okay, but the sculpts are haggard.

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

True, teeth in 1/6 scale don't always work, but I think it has a lot to do with sculptors messing up open mouths. There are all kinds of complex muscle reconfigurations that occur throughout the face when a person shows their teeth, from the chin all the way up to the forehead. Many sculptors...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

It looks pretty great so far. I can see some very slight faults, but this sculpt is the best Lee Dracula to date and I trust will look fantastic in-hand. They got his deviated septum and irregular bottom teeth right. That's respect to accuracy.

Action Figure McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Line

The worst part is the fins are separate pieces that leave a clear seem/gap when attached. That destroys the entire contour and design of the Batmobile. Something we won't be able to ignore when looking at this. I feared McFarlane's Batmobile wouldn't be the best quality after what they did with...

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I was going to post this same pic as my choice for a neutral sculpt. Lee struck some rather smug cocky upperclass British nobleman stares in his role as Dracula. Sort of like the rudest waiter you'd ever get in a fancy restaurant. Quite unlike the Lugosi look, Lee's was very "British". I think...

1/6 Premier Toys - The Marauder (Mad Max 2 Wez)

Looks dreadful! This reminds me of their Max figure that was all over the place and only good for harvesting parts for a kit bash. You can see from the shin guards butting up and under the knee pads that the body is scaled all wrong for the parts. How can a release look so different from the...

1/6 Premier Toys - The Marauder (Mad Max 2 Wez)

It's called a DAD-BOD. He was like many beefy beer bloated burly strongmen of the time and era before. Not fit or muscular the way we think of today.

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue - 1/6 Hammer Horror of Dracula

I'm actually a little more excited for Van Helsing. He had more going on with his outfit tailoring, like that fur collar Victorian pimp coat. I tried to make my own custom Van Helsing 20 years ago, made a sculpt and tested a few fabrics, but just gave up. Now I can sit back and let Kaustic do...
