The head sculpt and rolling eyeballs is too good to pass (imo, rolling eyeballs should just be a standard cos they add so much to the figure in terms of posing). Maybe you could try to just get that? But I got a feeling people will sell that separately for a ludicrous price.

Imo, I think anyone who hasn't got the figure and wants it is gonna have to go for this anyway. Let's face it, this particular release could easily considered a grail piece by many Final Fantasy, and hell, just about ANY longtime video-game fan. I doubt subsequent batches will change anything...
