Size definitely matters.

Protip for posing him though, when you raise his legs up there are little flaps at the bases of his hips that detach and raise up. Not only do they give you an extra couple millimeters to work with, it helps avoid paint rubs against his torso. You definitely don't want to ruin this horribly...

I must have spent over 90 minutes with this thing. On the one hand, it's a very cool piece. The face sculpt is unreal - even though it's a bit dead eyed. It's hard to make him seem like he's actually looking at something. And I couldn't for the life of me get him into an action pose I felt...

He's here! Unboxing right now. Holy crap at the boxing care on this! Update: I don't think Hot Toys are for me. I can't get him to pose in a way that looks good. The head sculpt is pretty damn good though.

I've never been a fan of that pose. It's silly. I'm going to try and set mine up in the reindeer games pose, and see how he fills my Avengers lineup. IF HE EVER GETS HERE!

Sturdy enough that if the shelf gets bumped it'll stay standing? I'm hoping to display him without the included base. I'm not a huge fan of the one they went with.

I'm not sure if this has been answered, but could someone list roughly how big the base is? I want to know if I can squeeze him into my Avengers display.

I can't say I disagree. He doesn't "feel" like just under a grand (with shipping) worth of product. These things are quite overpriced. But I do like mine quite a bit. (My Apocalypse doesn't come close to feeling worth $600. He's a purchase I regret, and keep him boxed up.)

Once more people get this, they (we) need to start showing off cool poses. Seeing him laid out like a cadaver doesn't do him justice.

Mine showed up today, but it arrived without his leather accessories: the strap and belt. Very odd.
