InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Haha I’m still very hyped and haven’t stopped thinking about this figure for the last few weeks. I just don’t know what else to say here without repeating myself and bugging everyone.

yep, that makes perfect sense! Sorry for the confusion

Hot Toys Disney+ Figures "The Mando" + "Cassian" + "Kenobi" + "The Book of Boba Fett"

Yeah. He‘ll have a few at his side but I’m assuming he’s going to need to convince some others by combat, Like Paz Vizla and Bo Katan their crews. Do we have a clue as to who the big baddie is in this?

My b dude, I didn’t realize the word ‘nonsense‘ had such a negative connotation. I was simply responding to a firm opinion with another.

Hot Toys - TMS051/2 - Mandalorian and Grogu (Season 2)

Nonsense. To plenty of people, it’s their favorite look. I personally like Beskar Mando just slightly more but Durasteel Mando is still dope and will look sweet next to shiny Mando once that comes in. The Razorcrest was awesome but his N-1 hot rod is sick and I can’t wait to see more of it. I...

Having an Aragorn grail has always been a goal since the toybiz days, so I'm excited to. My hope is they deliver on their previous figures. If they continue on that track, I'll be more than happy.

Ah gotcha. I knew it has magnetic joints and I thought I heard something about it having good weight. I assumed it was because they designed the body.

Aren’t they using bodies of their own design?

I assume that’s the base you’re speaking of. It’s really cool. Where are these available?

ACI Toys: 1/6 ARAGORN (Improved Production Copy updated!)

Haha I was just snooping through some old threads and saw that. I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist

I disagree. Theyve set a high bar and they know the lengths to go to achieve this level of accuracy. I highly doubt the reasoning for shorter boots is the result of budgetary constraints.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I don’t believe they had that intention. I had a moment of questioning what I was seeing to, to be honest. Seems that nobody is used to this level of detail. I keep hearing “ this is literally the best sculpt I had ever seen on a figure ever” from folks on YouTube and I have a hard time arguing...

Do rooted figures really require that much maintenance? Like hairspray everyday? or just when you want to pose it? I for one will maybe put it in 1 pose.

I make extra money on the side doing commissions to fund my nerdy expenses and my wife knows and is cool with it. I’ve never felt the need to let her know of my expenses.

When it comes to the outfit, the biggest thing that sticks out that's off is the boots. Hopefully they at least lengthen those. They should hit right under the knee but they hit 2/3 shin.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Yep…I uh…switched my order to premium. My justification is that I’m incredibly picky with this format and I have no intention to have a large collection, maybe 7 or 8 at the very max. So Im willing to splurge on 1 figure. Call it fomo, I don’t care. I’ve been so torn but InArt seems incredibly...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

LotR is timeless to me and seems to hit stronger every passing year that I sit down to watch through it. It’s the greatest trilogy of all time imo. I’ve always wanted that definitive Aragorn figure and now he’s here. I wish I could show my younger self this and what figures of my favorite...

To be fair, Aragorn was a real sweaty/greasy lad for most of Fellowship.

lol yep same. Even so I don't think I'd order more regardless. If I did, maybe I'd order the rooted, but I'd keep it in a safe and order the sculpted to display. So what's the point? I'm too selective and I do appreciate that because it saves money :D
