*BEWARE SPOILERS* Deadpool & Wolverine (July 26th, 2024)

I've never really understood what is meant by 'forcing agendas'. I get that they gender swapped D- and E-list characters to make the stories a bit less man heavy and that made some people mad. I'm a bit on the fence about that. Why use the name Taskmaster at all if the character has nothing...

    1/6 General 1/6 X-men thread

Still very much at the concept stage but here's a movie style Vertigo, Blockbuster, and Scalphunter. I do have some undergarments arriving for Vertigo and some army clothes for Blockbuster (currently wearing placeholder Juggernaut clothes).

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

I am conflicted because the later Fox moves that drew more heavily on the look of the comics, more spectacular action scenes, and a young team, were less well received and meh at the box office. They put too much focus on Professor X, Magento, and Mystique, which meant that the characterisation...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Only seen them at 4.5" https://www.triple-fictionproductions.net/onlinestore.html?~~mode=product&~~id=239042483#!/Constitution-Class-Refit-4-5-Scale-Nav-Conn-Console/p/239042483 Once the bridge chair comes out, it should be possible to cost it all out and see who else is up for making one...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I think I might go for a Borg alcove but I really want a TOS movie bridge so will likely have to get a helm made myself. Was already planning to get some extra flooring done to fit around the chair and elevated rear gantry so that figures posed at the back still show up.

    1/6 General 1/6 X-men thread

I have it. It's decent enough, although the metal claws are a bit heavy and his hands fall off sometimes. I did replace his head in the end though for a more neutral expression. He looks good in a group shot but my plan is a full set of 80-90s X-men done in the same movie style uniforms.

EXO-6 Star Trek "TOS" Figures (The Original Series)

Nanjin often has one eye on future-proofing so one option for him could be that wrap with good and evil heads and a Saurian brandy bottle. If he intends to do Rand, it gives people a reason to order two Kirks. I admit though, I can't recall which Kirk wore which outfit in the episode.

True, although the image was Kirk, in time for the 35th anniversary? It's possible he might do Chang, I suppose, his sculpt has also been floating around.

I think numbers generally are lowish but if your product sells out instantly, you have probably under-produced. Sounds like he wants TUC Kirk ready for next Xmas.

EXO-6 Star Trek "TOS" Figures (The Original Series)

Latest comments on Facebook suggest that TOS was delayed due to the logistics of the numbers. The decision to start small with less popular versions of popular characters was very much baked into the business plan it seems. I suppose staff, factory time, and production costs would have had to...

EXO-6 Star Trek "TOS" Figures (The Original Series)

Difficult to know. Production costs, production availability, and the likely popularity of particular characters were considerations as to when and how to pitch them to appeal to all the fans. He's using pre-order sales to partially fund production costs for the next run but to succeed, you...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

It's this that Nanjin has been working to avoid and there is that fine line between people being put off and never starting the collection. I have been collecting for 8 years and still haven't completed a single line up. My advice is to always assume the line will be incomplete and have a...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

It's a 30 year old plot thread - Kirk saw something in the echoes of the Nexus - a rebirth or a reboot? Soon we shall see!

    1/6 General 1/6 X-men thread

Have to say, the first two episodes of X-Men 97 were spot on. Animation was great, choreography has more of the cool vibe from Wolverine and the X-Men where their Danger Room training shows in cool combos, and it was so cool for so many of the original voice actors to come back, plus they have...

Yes nothing about them yet unless one of them is the curveball he mentions. I think we may have to wait for the next anniversary for a TOS figure.

From Facebook: We can start shipping Major Kira on the 21st! Expect invoice for remaining balance next week. Then wait a few weeks for Odo, then Pike, then LD, then Spock, then Saavik, then Geordi, Kruge... then a few curve balls 🤭 Leaving the Solar system so we can engage our Warp...

    1/6 General 1/6 X-men thread

Well the actor played Pyro, but in the Multi-verse of Madness, who knows? Don't forget though, Pyro can't create fire and he isn't immune to it so safety equipment is sensible. X3 never really did much with his ability to shape it but who knows what this version can do?

Looks like Pyro finally gets a costume in Deadpool 3. I still need him to complete the Brotherhood!!

She had an ephemeral beauty and allure that she projected with even the slightest movement. Students who hate those mime exercises should take a note and her dance training also showed in the way she flowed across the screen. I remember watching Kim Stringer play Uhura for the first time On...
