    Questions for Asmus

    “Forget it, Jake, it’s Chinatown”

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

I can’t imagine the cost of a printed box would add much of anything to the actual product. But the box to me adds something to the overall “wow” factor of the product inside.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

This. I had something similar happen to me a couple of years ago around Christmas. A buyer put in a claim for a $400item he bought from me that tracking proved was delivered. Even though he started chargeback procedures thru his cc company, eBay buyer protection sided with me.

1/6 Hot Toys - Back to the Future Part III - DeLorean Time Machine Collectible Vehicle

I’m planning on using Moducases. I currently have the Pt 1 Delorean, Marty, Doc and Einstein displayed in a Sixth110 case. I have another on order for Pt II, and I’ll just add a third for Pt III.

    SUPERMADTOYS 1/6 Bionic Man

And predictably, some idiot already has the 2-pack listed on eBay for 1k. I’m always a bit hesitant to support unlicensed products, but since it’s doubtful any legitimate company will ever produce quality 6MDM figures, I would’ve purchased this set. A Bigfoot without Steve Austin is useless to...

    SUPERMADTOYS 1/6 Bionic Man

Since I no longer have any of the previous Steve Austin figures, I’ll pass on the single Bigfoot if the 2-pack is gone already. A shame, really.

    SUPERMADTOYS 1/6 Bionic Man

I don’t see the 2-pack listed; has it sold out already? 😔

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Asmus did actually release a Saruman - two of them, in fact, although the second was a “slim” release of their first. They left a lot to be desired, though; the sculpted beard and the sparse scalp hair were not their finest hour. An Inart version would definitely be an upgrade.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

True; but what they aren’t used to is a figure being released in “waves” over the course of months and months. I’m fine with it, but then I received my Gandalf from Kit quite early, in his first wave. I’d probably be frustrated too if I were still waiting.

Mars Toys 1989 Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne

Mine shipped April 10th from Ekia Hobbies, but I believe it officially released a bit before that.

    Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

I will say, as somebody who waitlisted for the ‘66 and had it convert almost immediately, if you decide to go that route … it will more than likely convert. Do it! 😉

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue 1/6 Happy Days Fonzarelli

I guess so, mine was #51/100. Hey, you got the Fonz’ favorite number ! 🤣

Mars Toys 1989 Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne

You’re confusing your Batmen; that was Christian Bale in Batman Begins

Kaustic Plastik / Infinite Statue 1/6 Happy Days Fonzarelli

Wow, that was quick! I received a payment request on Monday, UPS tracking info on Tuesday, and delivery on Friday. I certainly can’t complain about the shipping charge with that kind of service (as opposed to FedEx, who charged me over $300 and then sat on my Jazzinc Batmobile in France for 11...

Mars Toys 1989 Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne

As someone who collects Marvel Legends, I’d definitely agree with that.

Mars Toys 1989 Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne

If you don’t realize a big company like Hot Toys has much more in overhead costs than a third party like Mars/Saturn (not just licensing fees), then I don’t see much sense in arguing the point. Jazzinc is a different beast; fully licensed, but I’d hope no one would argue that their prices are...

Mars Toys 1989 Michael Keaton Bruce Wayne

Probably thinking “we actually pay licensing fees”, unlike third party outfits like Mars/Saturn.
