Mezco One:12 Collective - (1:12 scale) Marvel Comics Figures

Thanks, SpiderBat. I hadn't noticed the articulation was lacking, but to be fair my poses are usually pretty stilted and simple during my first shoot with a given figure. Weird question: his arms are wrapped in what looks like tape. Is that to protect them from the dye of the shirt?

Thank you, Rbeato and irezumi! Great googly-moogly, that's awesome.

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

It might be a while (it's a two-and-a-half-hour drive), but here's something to tide you over. (Luke Skywalker holding his baby self is one of those stupid ideas that I couldn't get out of my head) Probably not a popular sentiment, but I still might prefer that Luke figure to the...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Thank you, Sixth Scale Man! I don't keep much of anything longterm, so I'm bound to sell or trade Mando someday, and I'll keep wanting to take him out on epic shoots as long as I own him, which means potentially accidentally damaging him further, so I'm thinking a trip to the ocean and then...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

I climbed Mt. St. Helena for the first time yesterday; ten miles, all told, and my legs are letting me know about it today! I brought Mando, naturally, but unfortunately he has another scratch on his head, and this time I don't even know how it got there! I'd planned to keep him for another...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Took old Mando out on another shoot this morning. It was miserably cold, but I had fun nonetheless. (Forgot to add: Thank you again, Sixth Scale Man, for the tip re: posing!) I'll start with one of the lesser portraits, simply because it provides an interesting look at some of the fire damage...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

I couldn't speak to the value of the figure you seek, but if you're thinking of selling or trading Mando, I'd wait six months or a year; now that it's sold out, it's bound to increase in value.

That dio is hella dope, Sassafras! As for his hands, one of my Mando's hands broke when I tried to gently pry it open to accommodate an accessory! The four fingers popped out as one piece; I was able to superglue it back in. But yeah, these hands are clunky and frustrating, and I also think...

Nice work, Sixth Scale Man! I have tried that rifle-behind-the-shoulder pose numerous times, but with no success; I can't get the elbow to bend far enough! Auel, your lighting is divine!

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

You are too kind, thank you! Thanks, man. Sometimes I feel like I should cowboy-up and learn to use a "real" camera (and/or learn about lighting and building dioramas and painting, etc.), but this way I get to spend all my hobby funds on toys rather than paint or lenses or whatever. Ha ha...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Thank you for the generous words! My camera is a Canon Powershot SD 1300 IS. I'd produce better shots if I upgraded, but I'm a creature of habit; I have bought this same exact camera three times now. The best thing is, it's so outdated that it's cheap as hell; my current one cost me $40! If I...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Agreed! One of my favorite portraits of Hot Toys Joe Colton is a hasty cell phone photo I captured with my front door as the backdrop. It's not epic, but the mundane setting brings out his eerie lifelike qualities more than my more epic shots in nature. Plus, an outdoor photo, when done well...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Thank you! Hot Toys figures do a lot of the heavy lifting. :) Thanks! I was pretty happy with the wind, although it did cause Mando to topple once, and consequently he has a slight ding on his helmet; it's barely noticeable, and I tell myself it's battle damage, but it's still a bummer...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

Thank you so much, everybody, for the kind words! Photographing this toy has been so much fun. Hoody, I've weirdly become much more boring about titling photos in the past year or two, so most of these photos just have quotes from the series for their titles; "Decommissioned Mandalorian...

1/6 The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure

While I'd kinda like to have a figure of The Child to accompany Din, I have always found the Beskar armor look boring compared to the more gritty DIY version 1 look, so I am quite content to have this figure be my definitive Mando. And man alive is it a photogenic toy. (The wind and...
