PRESENT TOY PT-SP25 Tombstone Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer)

I've read that the Redman RM053 just released. Might be a good place to source the guns and a better sculpt. Edit with video: maybe not a better sculpt, after all.

InArt - The Batman 1/6th Figure

I still think the sculpted hair looks better on The Batman, at least to me, glad I ordered that version. Maybe it's because it's a shorter cut than Gandalf, Aragorn and even Paul.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

It looked great when the headsculpt was in the case. He futzed it very badly.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I don't want to offend anyone, but... yeah, that's exactly right. Figure was perfect out of the box: And ended up like this: This review is scaring people off. And then there's this weirdo:

And why wouldn’t you receive it? I don’t have a single doubt KGH will deliver.

A magnetic base is still more limiting than a crotch grabber. I favor poseability over aesthetics, same reason I favor wrist pegs over seamless arms. I’d buy a statue if I favored a seamless wrist over poseability.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Yeah, or a custom base with a crotch grabber. I’m sorry but magnetic bases are in no way an innovation, they’re just an obstacle to posing. They are less safe and they limit posing options in terms of: feet positioning, feet angling (they can only lay flat), and balancing, cause the figure have...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

You guys might know more, I don’t care much for Joker and didn’t follow that release. I tried to find out if someone modded the base to make all the surface magnetized. It seems to be trickier than I thought…

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

There's people on FB saying there's a significant drop in quality over the proto and they are worried sick for Aragorn now... I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

PRESENT TOY PT-SP25 Tombstone Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer)

How does this compare to the Redman RM052?

1/6 DARK TOYS DTM005 Collectible Figure MAX DX

I know the body is all kinds of wrong. But I'm still quite happy with the result. Dark Toys sculpts + Premier Toys clothes and accessories, Art Figures Boy Black body. It was the closest to the sculpts tone, even if it seems clearly off in the photos, in real life it's pretty close. What do you...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Dude... that's their second figure! Certainly things were already in motion when they collected criticisms from people getting their Joker. Plus, they were exploring a new feature for controlling the eyes, which didn't work, so they did the logical thing and reverted to something more familiar.

Toy Biz got something right, they nailed the way you can put the thumbs in your eyes to unsee it.
