    MAFEX Robocop 1/12 scale

Mmm, nah, As with the movie, original is best.

Yeah, there is that. They do say though that size isn't everything....

    MAFEX Robocop 1/12 scale

Not blown away. The original one will do me, though I wouldn't mind getting a loose Murphy head, just as an option if the mood takes me.

    Prime 1 - Predator - 1/3 Scale Museum Masterline MMPR-01DXS - Jungle Hunter Predator

No, I don't, but, I wouldn't need to to be able to see the inaccuracies. If you own it and you love it, fine, don't let me stop you.

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

LOL! To be fair though, the average 5yr old will venerate that as much as adults venerate what we buy.

    InArt: TDK Batman 1/12 scale?

Interesting, now we get into 1/12 wars, oh joy....

    Prime 1 - Predator - 1/3 Scale Museum Masterline MMPR-01DXS - Jungle Hunter Predator

It's very nicely presented and painted, but, once you look beyond that, I'm afraid it begins to fall a little flat. Proportionally it's way off. It has the body proportions of a standard height human. Kevin Peter Hall was anything but. To create the best overall impression, an '87 Predator needs...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

I think the smiling one is really nice, but, neither of them screams Ledger on further viewing. To me, a likeness has to be instant. You look and they're there. What has shocked me in recent times is that cheaper and smaller figures have given me that instant hit and larger more expensive...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

His NECA work is fine to me and all the stuff I have that he's done is first rate. On a head that size there is all the detail you need. Some of his earlier stuff suffered during production. The wax masters of his SSC stuff are way nicer than what we eventually got. Earlier today, I saw a video...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

All very good points and I don't disagree either. I see Jacob's stuff regularly on FB and it is brilliant. That said though, he is only doing one of one head at a time. How good production line workers will be at all these innovations remains to be seen....

Kojun is definitely talented, but, he's only good at certain people, not all of them. Same with Arnie Kim. The one sculptor I've seen in recent times that has nailed everyone I've seen him do is Trevor Grove. If you look at the masters of the stuff he's done for NECA they are phenomenal. Since...

JND Studios 1/6 scale Heath Ledger Joker figure

That much is true, but, a lot of people are now saying that the likenesses are off. JND, Kojun or not, could have hired someone they absolutely knew could deliver the best Ledger sculpt possible. Having seen some good close-ups of an InArt that someone actually owns, I even think it's better in...

The point I was making was that Arnie seemed to have been hired by HT for the marquee value his name would provide and that Kojun could have been hired by JND in the same way.

There was a note of sarcasm there, LOL!

It often seems to me that companies like this go to sculptors like Kojun purely for marquee value. That Yixie sculpt looks superb, but, if JND said Joker by Yixie, they go "Who!?", but, you say Kojun and they're tripping over their tongues. It's like HT and Arnie Kim, they hired him to do the...

    Neca has universal monsters!!!

I hadn't seen the Monster from Bride with the accessories before, but, that doesn't interest me as I only want classics in B&W. I did also note the lack of a B&W Phantom, which annoys me. I hope we might get one later. Just a case of wait and see....

What is your favorite YouTube channel for figures/statues?

I like Dean too. As a fellow Brit I like his style. It's about the figures, never him. You get some channels where the focus is on the host rather than what they're reviewing.

The dogs look ruff! The whole silicone thing bothers me. Sure some gets used for special make-up effects, but, it's peeled off and discarded after the movie wraps. Medical grade silicone, the vast majority of that ends up encased in a breast, so, how it holds up being exposed to detolf lighting...

    Prime 1 - Ripley (Aliens)

This is very nice. It's one of the few Ripley sculpts I've seen that really looks like Sigourney Weaver. She's a bit like Harrison Ford, you get some good ones, but no totally perfect ones.
