Queen Studios / InArt to do sixth scale figures

I got to go to that InArt event Friday night too. For SDCC overall Sideshow not being there is still weird, but the show floor was completely full, so it's not like they have a void. I had a great weekend, the toy panels I went to were pretty fun and had some good reveals. I did McFarlane...

The Howling 1/12 Scale Werewolf by Syndicate Collectibles

I think they've been working on Pumpkinhead far longer, they showed the figure and statues for Pumpkinhead at last year's SDCC, I don't remember seeing this guy there. They're advertising a second head but don't even have a render for it, kind of an odd launch for the figure.

    1/6 Hot Toys - MMS755 - Episode I: The Phantom Menace - Droideka

The spheres would be gigantic. I think they look great but some blast effects would've been cool for some variety.

The Howling 1/12 Scale Werewolf by Syndicate Collectibles

Yeah same, I've only had a few orders with them but nothing but good experiences.

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

2008 was 16 years ago, ancient history. Mezco and Loyal Subjects are making cartoon Turtles. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/183199?o=4 That's a cartoon Donatello on the box. Whether you think they are cartoon enough doesn't matter. That's what they're marketed as...

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

This logic that there's any exclusive reason fails when you consider Super7's, Mezco's and The Loyal Subjects' TMNT figures are widely available and at the same or similar scale. NECA was always going to make different Mirage Turtles instead of the ones based only on the first few issues like...

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

The turtles are 6" tall, but it's a 7"/1:10 scale line, they're only 6" because they are shorter than humans. There is no issue for them releasing them solo, they literally just released Ultimate Cartoon versions as singles for the last Target Collectors Con thing a few weeks ago. As I...

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

What 6" stuff are you referring to? Like I said they don't really do 6" scale for anything. I recall reading that they have deals with Target/Walmart and I think they help fund things for them. I cannot imagine any company like NECA's size would take risks like creating unique molds for all the...

    TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles)

NECA is making exactly what they want. They do 1:10/7" and 1/4 scale figures for all of their lines and that's what they've done for TMNT. I'm sure they'd sell, but the NECA TMNT movie line will not be matched with how many characters they've done and many collectors are 2 dozen figures deep...

NECA: An American Werewolf In London: Kesslerwolf

Yeah this is the type of release where I shut up and take out my wallet. Never thought we'd actually get them. I'll probably buy a second set for another set of legs/torso for a second Jack. I can imagine them doing a SDCC exclusive or something for something else.

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Returns Penguin (Danny DeVito)

Yeah, it's included with one (or both? can't remember) 3P BttF2 Doc Browns. I'm assuming it's theirs but seems likely.

1/6 ETERNAL - Batman Returns - The Cat Lady

The top of her head looks like it's just about the height of Penguin's top hat in that pic. I think she'd be pretty small looking at Penguin among the other figures there.

Mars Toys 1/6 Batman Returns Penguin (Danny DeVito)

They also did the Doc Brown head, I guess that's the only BttF thing they've actually released.

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

This looks like the prototype ANH Luke, not the production ANH Luke. That changed a bit from proto.

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

Yeah this looks like a repaint of this proto sculpt.

Mars Toys Back to the Future 1/6 Figures

The sculpt looks great mostly covered with the sunglasses and hat, but just not that good otherwise. What is the other expression going to be? Looks the same but blurred.

    Storm Collectibles - Mortal Kombat

I only care about the 1/10 scale figures, so this is a big bummer. Even if anyone else gets the license, nothing will scale right with Storm. I am wondering if it's WB and their screwy licensing department more than Storm.

    Storm Collectibles - Mortal Kombat

Someone posted on the Storm FB group that they updated their current licenses and now do not list WB or Mortal Kombat. The line may be done.

    NECA Jaws

Yeah I guess I didn't impart my opinions there but Randy is a *******. Showing off stuff like this and then acting like we're insane for expecting something.
