She on writes the 99 on her left shoulder.
As usual, the rooted hair looks like garbage but the likeness in the Motorball helmet is great, looks far more like her than the Hot Toys sculpt.
Yeah I've been watching some clips and I'm not impressed. Might be outdated but I judge any Venom interpretations by the 90s animated series as my favorite version. The voice, trash talking Spidey as he kicks his ass ("Such low grade webbing!"), motivations, and general characterization are...
Between the Venom details, and the side mission nonsense with Miles I'm hearing about, I'm not in any rush to buy it now. Certainly not dishing out $70. I'll get it under $30 next holiday season.
If I feel like swinging around I'll just play the first one.
That reminds me, does Venom use "us" and "we" in the game? I haven't watched any gameplay. Gonna wait and see if it goes on sale closer to Christmas, not gonna pay $70 for many games anymore.
Is Venom really 18 feet tall in the game? He gets bigger with every appearance.
He's best at like 7-8 feet tall. I'd prefer a traditional spider symbol, but still pretty cool looking.
All I've wanted for years is a live action adaptation of Venom and Carnage from the 90's TAS. Awesome...
The sculpt is great, but the tailoring and suit is pretty bad, almost like they blew up a 1/12 suit instead. The collar of the yellow shirt especially.
It's unfortunate because I've wanted a Spike figure for years, I hope they improve the clothes.
Hot Toys just got complacent, they were at the top so long they stopped trying.
Their only idea of improvement was adding PERS to every single head sculpt.
He was also north of the wall, they all needed tons of furs and layers just to survive. Makes sense they'd be puffy wearing so much.
Back in Winterfell it's not nearly as cold so he wore "regular" clothes. In the book Jon even notes Ygritte could be skinny or fat but he couldn't tell with all...
As much as Threezero has improved since the original Jon Snow, half the time their figures still look soft and underwhelming.
InArt would be more expensive but they make figures that actually look high end. I don't need or like rooted sculpts, but I could only imagine how good a Jon or the...
I'm so glad we're getting natural looking neutral hands that aren't the exact same mold Hot Toys has been using for the past 12+ years for every single figure without gloves.
Everything about this from body posture to hands is more natural and realistic looking than anything Hot Toys will do.
As good as their Cavill likeness is, it's surprising they'd be this off with Christopher Reeve.
Now I'm kinda hoping they'll try a Routh Superman someday. It'd be cool if InArt goes into all the previous DC movies.
I was actually thinking something similar to this last night. With Hayden playing Anakin again it got me thinking about the ROTS hype back in 2005. That and the TDK hype were insane, a lost era of cinema. Nothing will achieve that ever again.
What annoys me the most is they didn't even make an attempt to do a proper ZSJL Superman. Purposely used an inaccurate, dated sculpt for the second time in a row.
