Not being snarky at all, but do you/or other collectors like a particular figure more or less based on the price you paid for it? If you got a screaming deal on something do you like it more? If you had to pay the after market prices do you like that figure less than if you got a deal on it?

Unfortunately, I put the box in storage already. When I go back to get some things I'll grab it and snap some pictures (could be a while though). Most likely won't put it on the 85 body as once I have my "men" posed I hate to repose them. I just leave them as is. Sorry, I know that doesn't help...

Of course, with anything get as much information as possible then make up your own mind. Everyone has an agenda or biased whether it be a business decision or a natural pull towards certain characters/franchises.

For sure, nothing is 100% the same. Justin noted that the paint was more vibrant on the 47 reissue. I on the other hand preferred the original releases paint because I feel it is closer to the movie. Again personal preference here.

That's another thing. I wonder why the Mark 47 was fast tracked and out in 7-8 months whereas the Mark V is guesstimated at around 2 years.

I wonder if them doing this reissue has anything to do with Mark 85 release and added delay? Could they be trying to win back support? I'm guessing this was going to happen regardless but maybe pushed ahead of schedule to quiet the mob and win back some favor.
