Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

Another thing people can keep in mind is that in the 21 or so movies in Phases 1-3 Thanos only appears in 5 of them, the rest are either introducing new characters or tied to the Infinity Stones as a plot device. We see Thanos fully formed in “Infinity War” but the overall story still leads to...

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

I guess the Tesseract IMMEDIATELY transported him to Voromir when he held it 😄. No explanation, no “What have you been up to?”, no nothing 😬

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

Oh yeah, I agree, for every Thanos you need a Hobgoblin and someone to tow the space in between. Crossbones was definitely one that could’ve played the recurring henchman/gun for hire role, especially with “CA: NWO” coming up. Does anyone remember them using Graviton on “Agents of SHIELD”...

Present Toys - 1/6 PT-55 Blade Warrior (aka Blade from Blade II)

I saw this on the One Sixth Cave channel the other day and immediately said “Whaaat?! 😲”. I figured most companies would wait to see what Mahershala Ali’s version would look like, but Wesley is the still Numero Uno. The likeness looks “enough” like Wesley, but also a little like Clay Fontenot 😄...

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

Ya know, after watching this yesterday (and almost considering waiting for Disney+) I can safely say I enjoyed it well enough. All of it is more silly than serious but that’s to be expected with time traveling villains and Ant People. I wasn’t buying into the hype/narrative of Rotten Tomatoes...

1/6 Hot Toys - The Falcon & The Winter Soldier - Captain America

This is kind of review I appreciate just for the notion of seeing how these things are assembled, it’s crazy 😳 This figure looks GLORIOUS; not just a fine translation of the costume from the screen but a pretty good translation if you want something comics-based (It’s all about “synergy”...

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

What is the "why"...or why do you not want to say "why"?

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

Your post prompted me to look up the 1994 Roger Corman movie Doom and THAT is a near-perfect version of Doom, a very hammy, scenery-chewing villain. With a 2023 budget it could be great.

    BLADE

Good grief, that script synopsis sounds *in my Australian accent* terrible! It sounds like the first “Blade” mixed with “Logan” and a half cup of whatever they tried to do with Blade in the comics recently (w/ Blade’s daughter). No wonder they had to go back to the drawing board 😬

    Future of DC Films (DCEU)

Nice. My faith in the fandom/cult has been restored, if only for a moment…

    Future of DC Films (DCEU)

I have surveyed the landscape looking for “Release The Ayer Cut” blimps and banners where there were once “Release The Snyder Cut” blimps and banners. I have yet to see them….👀

    HBO: The Last of Us

I have a friend that’s been vehemently against the very idea of this show since its inception…so I’m sure he’ll be “hate watching” on Sunday just to prove himself right 😄

Marvel's Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

I don’t really like to chime in on movie forums that often but I will say this second trailer makes the movie look less…goofy, I suppose? When you establish a tone with one trailer sometimes that tone is hard to get over. Will I see this in a theater? Maybe…but I’m not in the “The M-She-U...

Hot Toys Spider-Man: No Way Home - 1/6th scale Spider-Man (final suit)

I know some people didn’t like the choice of material or the seam on the right-hand side of the torso, but it’s never been an eyesore, to me. Both scratch the itch of “Comic Book Spidey” but there are things I’m liking about this new one. It definitely translates the movie costume in a nice...

Hot Toys She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

Bonjour and good morning to you all. For curiosity’s sake while looking up the Marvel Legends She-Hulk I found this… This is the Disney Store 12” Shulkie. More “doll like” or “toyetic” with the exposed joints and rooted hair, etc, but I was curious what one would look like with those particular...

Hot Toys She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

I was thinking “275-285ish”, as that seems to be the standard price for a Hot Toy now. Seeing that “Jennifer Thee Stallion” has a unique body (ody-ody), it makes sense. So when we say “It’s gonna go to the Bargain Bin”, I say… It’s bad enough these days a sixth scale figure is $300, sneakers...

Hot Toys She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

IF the arms weren’t “rubba” I’d bite, cuz holy hell, how long will it be before the joints wear out, depending on how you pose it? BUT I do like the scale, glad she’s taller than DD but shorter than Bruce, and the benefit of Jen’s face being a “computer model” helps with the transition from...

    1/6 S-HERO - SH001 Doom Monarch (Doctor Doom)

I don’t know if there’s an “industry standard” as far as how figures are scaled, but I’ve had the same issue. My SooSoo “Green Menace” is TINY compared to the HT Classic Suit Spider-Man, it almost hurts to think about it. On the hand, the SooSoo “Classic Trickster” is taller than Spider-Man...

Hot Toys Daredevil (She Hulk ver.)

Indeed they will, and that’s what keeps the “computers ‘puting” and the Freaks freaking on the forums 😄. I actually wouldn’t mind a comics style Yellow suit if a company put some effort into it.
